Update: Bill Carter of the New York Times is reporting that sources inside NBC say Jimmy Fallon will take over The Tonight Show when Jay Leno‘s contract expires in the fall of 2014, and the show will move back to New York. None of the news has been officially confirmed, but Carter routinely gets the story right long before anyone else. There is no word on who would succeed Fallon or whether the Late Night show would move to California. Moreover, it’s uncertain what this might mean for David Letterman, whose contract also ends in 2014. We’ll continue to follow the story as it develops.

Stand Up Rocks

Craig Ferguson‘s newest stand up comedy special I’m Here To Help is getting a good response on Netflix. The show was recorded in front of two sold out crowds at Washington, DC’s Warner Theatre in November of 2012. If you haven’t seen the preview, take a look:

Tuesday on the Late Late Show, Craig has a conversation with actress Michelle Monaghan and two last-minute additions: Author John Green and comedian Tone Bell. On Wednesday, watch for actor Aaron Eckhart and musician Kellie Pickler.

Guest Update

The Late Late Show schedule has been updated through March 29th. As you’ll see on our Guests page, the show will air encore presentations on Thursday and Friday of this week and next week, due to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament on CBS. With the show in re-runs, we’ll take a short break and return on Monday. Of course, if any Craig-related news pops up between now and then, we’ll post it here.
