Craig Tweets During the extended summer break in August, Craig Ferguson was tweeting in his spare moments. He tweeted a photo with Betty White on the set of Hot in Cleveland:

Hot tramp I love you so.

He stumbled across a wedding at Grand Central Station in New York City:

Just got photo bombed by these jerks in Grand Central.

He commented on a tweet from comedian Jim Gaffigan:

“: “”Fashion is your kryptonite!” – my 9 year old daughter to me.” She’s right. You’re a notorious dandy.

He tweeted about some rum-laced blueberry spread in Canada, immediately correcting his geography a moment later:

In Northwestern Canada they know how to have a good time. / Gar! I meant Northeastern Canada

Before heading to Denver to appear on stage, Craig made a stop at his dentist:

@ dentist having ancient Scottish bridgework repaired. I have to say I’m enjoying it more than the VMA’S

He then became philosophical in a pair of tweets:

I have found that playing scrabble on my phone &/or tweeting is an excellent replacement for doing anything useful &/or productive. #&/or / I’d like to dedicate my #&/or hashtag to S. Kierkegaard, the vivacious pretty boy of Danish Christian existentialists. /or

Finally, a pizza parlor in California uses a tweeted word of the day to offer its customers a discount on their order. On August 26th, they used the word “Dreamboys” in honor of one of Craig’s early bands. Craig saw the tweet and replied:

“: “Celebrity of the Day” for 8/26 is uson . Say “Dreamboys”, & get a 2nd pizza FREE” Finally kudos.

In the North Atlantic On his vacation in August, LLS Producer Michael Naidus spent part of his time touring Iceland. Perhaps hearing so many “Big Cash Prize” questions rubbed off on him:

Iceland is on the North Atlantic. It’s capital city is Reykjavik.

Craig on Youth Back in 2010, Craig opened a show talking about how American society has come to venerate youth and beauty over age and experience. The piece recently resurfaced and drew some attention in August, including a tweet from Stephen Fry:

Just why I adore so much

Fry’s tweet pointed to an article by Upworthy.com. The segment also generated articles on ncronline.org and Forbes.com. Here is the original clip: Video courtesy: rubbermuck
