Holiday Week
Craig Ferguson wrapped up his 2012 stand up comedy tour with two great shows at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC which will become his new stand up comedy special, coming to a television near you early next year. From there, Craig & Company get a week off to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with family, before returning to the studio on Monday, November 26th to start taping new episodes of the Late Late Show. There are a pair of new, pre-recorded shows scheduled for Monday and Tuesday of next week, to be followed by three encore presentations later in the week. Details are on our Guests page.

Chicago Fun

Craig played to a full crowd at the Chicago Theater on Thursday evening, with Josh Robert Thompson as his opening act.  The RSA’s Dave was in the audience and sent us his story:

[stextbox id=”custom”]We were at Craig’s show in Chicago after driving down from Minneapolis. We were in the first row, two seats from center stage. Josh opened the show and was fantastic. The crowd really liked him and I thought he could have gone longer.

Then Craig came on and he busted me. I was trying to take a quick picture to post here. He pointed at me an said “What’s-a-come-and-a-go in the front row? Tweeting?” I was nailed by the master, so the iPhone went in my pocket. About 30 minutes later, a women was standing and yelling at Craig about four rows back on the right side of the theater.

Craig walked over and started saying “Can you get off your ass?” It took us a while to figure out he was asking the security guy to get up from his chair. Folks were rolling when they figured out what he was doing.

He then ran to the left side of the stage. Another highlight was Craig taking a shot at Chicago’s own Oprah and running around the stage so her people could shoot him.

Overall it was a great show. The people in the front rows were laughing the entire time.[/stextbox]
