People’s Choice
Nominations have opened for the 2015 People’s Choice Awards, and this will be the final chance to nominate Craig Ferguson in the late-night host category for his work on The Late Late Show. The top five vote-getters in the preliminary round will be nominated, followed by a second round of voting. You can vote as many times as you like.
For the first few years, Craig’s fans had to write in his name as a choice. More recently, he’s been listed in the preliminary round but has not been nominated. This year, he’ll be up against Bill Maher, Conan O’Brien, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, and Andy Cohen. Even the folks behind the awards say they wish Craig was staying.
Voting in the preliminary round will continue until 11:59pm ET on Thursday, October 30. Nominees will be announced on November 4, and if Craig advances as a finalist, you can vote in the second round from November 4 through December 4. The winner will be announced during the People’s Choice Awards ceremony on January 7th, live on CBS.
To vote for Craig, visit the late-night talk show host page. To help Craig get nominated, be sure to vote early and vote often.
Tour Changes
Due due unforeseen schedule changes, Craig will not be appearing live in Boston on November 8th at Denis Leary‘s Comics Come Home event. He has recorded a videotaped message which will be played during the show, which raises money for Cam Neely Foundation and features a wide array of comedians from across the country. However, Craig has added one more date to his November tour. He’ll be in Montclair, New Jersey on Saturday, November 22nd. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am ET. You can find all the details on our Live Comedy Tour page.
Betty’s Quick
You have to be quick if you want to trade one-liners with Betty White, as Craig demonstrates in this outtake from Hot in Cleveland, which begins its new season on November 5 on TVLand.
