Tour Break
The first batch of shows in Craig Ferguson‘s Hobo Fabulous Tour has wrapped up and will resume in mid-October. Craig appeared in Portland and Eugene, Oregon and Snoqualmie, Washington before popping over the border into Canada for shows in Vancouver and nearby Richmond. He’ll be off the road for about a month and start the remainder of the fall tour on October 18th with seven more shows in Canada. He’ll begin in Alberta, with shows in Edmonton, Lloydminster, Medicine Hat and Calgary; then head to Saskatchewan with shows Saskatoon and Regina; followed by one show in Manitoba at Winnipeg. Then it’s back to the U.S., with shows in the Midwest and the Northeast. You can find all of the venues, dates, times and links to tickets on our Live Comedy Tour page.
Do Not Videotape Craig’s Shows!
Things got a little disrupted at Craig’s show at the casino in Snoqualmie last week. Apparently, a couple near the front were trying to videotape the show, which is against the rules. We’ll take this opportunity to remind you that still photographs (without flash) are fine in most venues, unless they specifically prohibit it, such as The Comedy Works in Denver. But videotaping is absolutely prohibited at all shows. If you are spotted recording video on you phone or any other device, you will be removed from the venue. Just don’t do it!
Despite the kerfuffle over the videotaping, the crowd in Washington enjoyed the show, including Craig fan Carl, who told us he traveled 275 miles to see Craig in person. Carl says he was a police officer for 26 years and had to work swing and graveyard shifts. “I watched Craig on my days off, in the middle of the night, when my family was all asleep. He helped me keep my sanity. Craig was my ‘invisible friend’ for all of those years.”
If you are seeing Craig perform live, we’d enjoy hearing your story and seeing your pictures (no flash and no video!). You can send it to us via our Contact Us page, or just tweet us a link to your own web page, blog, or social media account. We’d be happy to share your story with the rest of the Robot Skeleton Army.
