‘Nowhere Girl’ Gains Ground
The feature film Nowhere Girl, starring Josh Robert Thompson, has been making its way around the festival circuit, and this week took a big step toward being released. The film’s Twitter account says the producers have retained a firm to try to find a distributor, which could eventually get the film shown in theaters:
Nowhere Girl has signed with a sales agent to get distribution deals for the film in the US and around the world.
For independent films, the time, effort and money to produce a film is difficult enough, but finding someone to distribute the film can be even more challenging. We’ll be watching to see when the film might be coming to a theater near you!
