Film Backers Sought
The producers of the upcoming independent film Nowhere Girl, starring none other than Josh Robert Thompson, are wrapping up post production and have turned back to the crowdsourcing website Kickstarter to help raise money for marketing the film. Contributions can be made in many different amounts, which carry a variety of goodies in return. They hope to release the film later this year.
Fallon’s Scaled-Down Studio
When it was announced earlier this spring that Jimmy Fallon would succeed Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show, NBC also announced the show would return to New York. The ambitious plan included creating a huge new studio inside Rockefeller Center by carving out two existing studios, but as The Hollywood Reporter explains, the remodeling project has been scaled back considerably.
Zebra Stripes
Are zebras really just horses with striped pajamas? Even if they aren’t, they can still show their support for Secretariat, according to the RSA’s @HoboRobot.
Birthday Boys
When Craig was heading into Bob Saget’s charity event on Monday to raise money for the Scleroderma Research Foundation, a reporter stopped him and asked a few questions. Considering her offer of a gift, she may not be one of Craig’s biggest fans, but she did enjoy hearing about the birthday Craig and Bob share.
