Movie Deal in the Works
As we reported here several months ago, Craig Ferguson‘s production company bought the film rights to adapt Stuart Neville‘s novel The Twelve (sold under the title Ghosts of Belfast in the United States). Craig and his writing partner Ted Mulkerin, who also is a writer on the Late Late Show, have completed a screenplay and have landed Pierce Brosnan to play the lead role in the film, which will be called Last Man Out.
The next step is to secure financing to make the movie, and as the Hollywood Reporter explains, Craig’s UK-based sales partners will be shopping the film at the European Film Market in Berlin this week. The film is scheduled to shoot at the end of 2013. Good luck, Craig!
