Michael Clarke Duncan Dies Oscar-nominated actor and friend of the Late Late Show Michael Clarke Duncan has died at the age of 54. Huge in both physical size and stage presence, Duncan wowed critics and audiences alike with his portrayal of John Coffey in film adaptation of Stephen King‘s The Green Mile. From that iconic role, which earned him the best supporting actor Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe nomination, he went on to perform in several memorable films and television shows, including the Fox TV drama The Finder. Earlier this year, Duncan traveled with Craig Ferguson as part of a special week of shows in Scotland. Several weeks ago, Duncan suffered a heart attack and had remained since then in the hospital. He leaves his mother, a sister and his fiancée, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, best known from TV’s The Apprentice.
