Mind The GapAs we’ve been reporting, Craig Ferguson‘s last day on The Late Late Show will be Friday, December 19th. When Craig’s successor James Corden was named this summer, it appeared that Corden would start after the first of the year, leaving CBS just a couple of weeks over the holidays to fill with Craig re-runs. But according to a new report in the Hollywood trade publication Variety, Corden’s first show will be March 9th, 2015. Until then, sources tell Variety, CBS will likely use a series of guest hosts to provide new episodes in January, February and early March. The article also says the new Late Late Show will be executive produced by Corden’s longtime friend, British producer Ben Winston, who currently produces the UK’s version of X Factor. And there’s good news for Los Angeles: The Late Late Show will continue to be taped at CBS Television City.

With Halloween approaching, one of the robot skeleton faithful sent us a link to a cartoon from 1929, which features some skeletons Geoff Peterson probably knows.
