Celebrity Name Game We’re hearing more about Celebrity Name Game, the new game show being considered by CBS and featuring Craig Ferguson as host.  The first two episodes of the show were taped on Friday.  The website HollywoodJunket.com has a great description of the game and the atmosphere in the studio.  Thanks to the RSA’s @Girl_Atreide for sending us the link.  We found more buzz about the show on flashgameshows.com, and a personal blog from a contestant, who indicates the show may have an hour-long format. The RSA’s @JoScotz was in the audience and said:

I was at the second taping of Celebrity Name Game and have to say @craigyferg was absolutely fantastic as host!!! #reallyhopecbspicksupcng

A frequent member of the traveling band of hobos who attend Craig’s live stand up comedy shows, @Diane4Mail was in the audience in Los Angeles and sent us her story.  Thanks, Diane!  The game show section of About.com also has a short article.  Let’s hope CBS decides to put the show on its schedule! Craig’s Hammond Show The RSA’s @LadyJanet was among the many roboskellies who saw Craig’s stand up comedy show in Hammond, IN near Chicago last weekend.  She wrote a story about her experience in her blog and sent us a link to a bunch of pictures captured by @rscarri at the show.  Thanks to both of your for sharing your story!  We’re still hoping to hear stories and see pictures from anyone who attended Craig’s show in Atlantic City.  Please send us details or links on our Comment page or just tweet us @RSA_News.  RSA fans who weren’t able to attend enjoy hearing about the shows. Creative Coalition As Craig mentioned at the close of Friday’s show, actor Tim Daly is active in the Creative Coalition which is active in many important issues.  He hope you’ll take a moment to read about them. Craig on Tonight Show in UK The RSA’s @weecmurre let us know that for viewers in the UK, the episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, featuring Craig and his dance for Rose Byrne will be on the UK’s NBC Sky Channel 505 on Sunday, July 17th at 8:45pm local time. Set your Sky Plus! More Paris Coverage In addition to the write-up in Entertainment Weekly we mentioned in our last post, the RSA’s @HMSFox tells us that People Magazine also has an article about Craig taping episodes of the Late Late Show in Paris, including a picture from the Moulin Rouge and one of Geoff Petersen and Kristen Bell at the Eiffel Tower. We can expect more stories in the media leading up to August 1st! Winnie The Pooh Congratulations In the weeks leading up to the premiere of Winnie The Pooh, critics were almost unanimous in their support and affection for the film.  Have you had a chance to see it?  We’d like to hear what you thought… either briefly in our comment section below or you can send us a longer review.  Late Late Show guest Thomas Lennon saw the movie on Friday night and tweeted:

Loved the new Winnie the Pooh. Nice job @CraigyFerg!

Holidays For You Saturday, July 16th is National Woodie Wagon Day, the birthday of wonderful dancer and actress Ginger Rogers.  If you’ve never seen Rogers dance with Fred Astaire, treat yourself to three minutes of perfection.  Sunday, July 17th is Wrong Way Corrigan Day, the anniversary of the opening of Disneyland in California and National Ice Cream Day.  Have a cone and enjoy!
