Sunshine State Stand Up
Craig Ferguson‘s Hot and Grumpy tour is rolling through Florida this week. A big group of robot skeletons have been in the audience, including some who plan to see all six shows in the Sunshine State. The RSA’s @Colleen_Byrne has been capturing some images of Craig and Josh Robert Thompson on stage. And the RSA’s @mojobas sent us this story:
We enjoyed big funnies and a full house with Craig Ferguson and Josh Robert Thompson at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood Florida. It was my first time seeing Josh and he was spectacular. I heard an audience member near me remark about how spot-on his impersonations were.
Craig was sharp and in command. He made an extra joke as a woman up front was leaving for something and remarked how “Even though [she] somewhat ducked down, we could still all see her.” I met up with fellow RSA friend @NancyinTampa making it an extra special evening. Craig even used his famous “smell my finger” in some stories.
Hearing the big belly laughs all around me was wonderful. Another entertaining night with Craig Ferguson was gobbled up by all!
Game On
Celebrity Name Game, the new game show hosted by Craig, got a huge boost last week when it was picked up by Tribune television stations across the country, which will give it exposure to 40 percent of the country. As the trade publications Variety and The Hollywood Reporter explain, the major syndication deal essentially guarantees the show will be produced. Taping is slated to begin in the summer of 2014 with the first episode airing the fall. We’ll keep you posted.
Dwarf Planet
In this monologue from 2006, Craig talks about Pluto being downgraded as a planet.
