Sunshine State Awaits
Craig Ferguson will be on the road this weekend, visiting three Florida cities with his stand up comedy tour. First, he’ll headline homecoming festivities at Florida State University on Friday. Next up will be Fort Myers on Saturday on the left coast, followed by Hollywood (near Miami) on Sunday on the right coast. Tickets are still available for all three shows, although because Friday’s show in Tallahassee is general admission and open to students for free, the sooner you get tickets, the better. You can find out dates, times, venue information and ticket links on our Live Comedy Tour page. Unless an extra show pops up unexpectedly, these three shows are most likely Craig’s last live appearances for 2011. So far, we have not seen any confirmed dates for 2012 but as soon as we hear about them, we’ll be sure to post them here.
Bitsie Bonus
Recent LLS guest Bitsie Tulloch was among many hoping to see a bit more of Craig, as she tweeted:
Excellent @craigyferg interview for Playboy. Funny, sad, honest, and smart. Still …wish he’d gone for a pictorial! “http://t.co/iGUaqjWQâ€
Back in March of 2010, Craig was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal and as usual, joked his way through the questions and managed to touch on some deeper truths.
Earth At Night
Thanks to the RSA’s @NancyInTampa for retweeting Craig’s friend @badastronomer, who sent out the link to a spectacular video. It is a series of time-lapse views of the earth, using a low-light camera mounted on the International Space Station. You’ll see the northern lights, clouds, oceans, city lights and lightning flashes from thunderstorms, all creating an amazing view of the planet.
