Facebook Fun
Craig Ferguson was traveling between Los Angeles and San Jose, California last week and decided to spend a little time on Facebook Live. In case you missed it, you can see the video here. Craig and company say they plan to pop up on Facebook Live before (and possibly even during) their upcoming daily show on SiriusXM Radio’s channel 94, which begins February 27th, so fans can get a little insight into what’s happening in Craig’s studio.
Corporate Gig
Why was Craig traveling to San Jose? He was doing a corporate gig, hosting an event for a company called Palo Alto Networks, which makes firewall protection for computer networks. Companies and other groups sometimes hire comedians to provide entertainment for big events. We don’t list them on our tour page, because tickets are usually not available to the general public. But sometimes pictures and video pop up from events like these. This time, Craig got to show off the company’s newest gear and you can see a recording of the event here, with thanks to the RSA’s @Colleen_Byrne, @bgrhubarb and others for finding the link.
History of Comedy
As we mentioned in our most recent post, Craig is among the people who were interviewed for CNN’s new original series The History of Comedy, which airs Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT. The series launched this past week and Craig is expected to appear from time to time on different episodes, giving his perspective on comedy and comedians.
Radio Time
As Craig gears up for his new SiriusXM Radio show, he had a chance to appear on several other SiriusXM shows during Super Bowl week, including Sway Calloway‘s show Sway’s Universe. Here’s Craig’s appearance on the show, with thanks to the RSA’s @bgrhubarb and @chandlersdame for spotting it.
