Cowtown Comedy Craig Ferguson‘s Live Comedy Tour departed Des Moines on Thursday evening, en route to Wichita, Kansas, for a Friday night show at the Orpheum Theater.  The Wichita Eagle newspaper interviewed Craig as a preview to the show.  The Des Moines Register talked with Craig before Thursday’s show as well. Meanwhile, Craig is keeping up his daily tweets from the road.  We’re beginning to think he planned this tour just so he could have breakfast at a Cracker Barrel restaurant every morning:

No sleep last night in extremely creepy haunted Hotel Deco in Omaha. Cheered up by visit to Cracker Barrel in Council Bluffs Iowa. #glam

But he also gets to enjoy some of the benefits of a road trip, like checking out the great museums along the way.  We particularly like Craig’s track suit pants as he stands in front of an A7-D Corsair II:

Craig’s opening act, comedian Ted Alexandro is sharing pictures along the way as well, this time with Craig in front of the museum’s 1929 Stearman C3-R:

Craig even added a picture from the Des Moines show after stepping off the stage of the Hoyt Sherman Theater:

Pythons To Appear Together Again The surviving members of Britain’s famed Monty Python comedy troupe will appear in a film together, reports Yahoo.com via the trade magazine Variety. They caution that while they will be on screen together and it will be directed by Terry Jones, it won’t be a Python-esque film per se, just a funny one. A Horse at the Door A California woman riding her horses across California to protest new legislation allowing expanded horse meat exports from the US, tells the website LAist.com that while she’s in LA, she wants to catch a taping of the LLS.
Toby Keith Gets Noms Frequent Late Late Show guest Toby Keith picked up a three of nominations for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, including Video of the Year for “Red Solo Cup,” which features Craig and Geoff Peterson!  His song is also nominated for Single of the Year and his nightclub, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill in Minneapolis, Minnesota is nominated to be the ACM’s Nightclub of the Year.  Unfortunately, the video and nightclub awards are handed out off-camera but you can watch to see if Toby picks up the Single award on the ACM telecast April 1st on CBS.  The ACMs even hand out a Best Casino Award, and the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma is nominated this year.  Craig will be there on Saturday. If you haven’t seen it, check out “Red Solo Cup” and watch for Craig and Geoff: Video courtesy: Toby Keith VEVO Tonight’s Guests “Le Late Late Show” continues from Paris on Thursday, when Craig and Kristen Bell tour the Palace of Versailles with TV Presenter/French royalty expert Stéphane Berne (from August 4, 2011).  Then on Friday, the look back at Paris wraps up with Craig’s performance at the Moulin Rouge and a chat with shoe designer Christian Louboutin (from August 5, 2011).
