Craig in Washington Craig Ferguson wowed two sellout crowds at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC on Friday night, recording both shows to be threaded together to form his new stand up comedy special, which has yet to named. Watch this space for more on the special as a release date draws closer, sometime early next year. The show will probably appear on cable television first, then be available on Netflix and/or other downloading services, and eventually on DVD as have Craig’s two previous specials. We’ll keep you up to date. Some of the RSA ladies, hosted by @colleen_byrne, enjoyed their time in Washington, having a meal at the International House of Pancakes. They also took a trolley tour of the capitol city, getting in some sightseeing to go along with Craig’s shows at the Warner.
The RSA’s @NancyInTampa took a photo of one of the grand chandeliers at the Warner Theatre.
Craig in Chicago The RSA’s @bug0058 was at Craig’s show at the Chicago Theater on Thursday evening and captured a photo of him on stage. We’ve enjoyed several night pictures from the theater over the past few days but really chuckled when we saw one from the RSA’s @thehotiron, who noticed a customized sign in a parking garage near the theater. You really know you’ve made it when you get your own parking sign.
Craig in Denver The Denver Post has a nice slideshow in its local style section of the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation event last weekend, where Craig appeared on stage and helped raise more than two million dollars for the group. The photo of Craig seen here is number 24 in the slideshow.
What About Dick Craig recently had Eric Idle on the show, who collaborated earlier this year on a unique stage show called What About Dick?, which featured several well-known names in British comedy, theater and film. A video version of the show, which ran for just four live performances in Los Angeles, is now available for download. Idle and fellow cast members Billy Connolly, Eddie Izzard and Sophie Winkleman also recently sat down with Chris Hardwick on the @Nerdist podcast to talk about about tho show. Here is a clip: Video courtesy: Nerdist November Birthdays Saturday, November 17th marks the birthdays of acting teacher Lee Strasberg, actor Rock Hudson, comedian Peter Cook and producer Lorne Michaels.
