Craig Ferguson and company are back in Los Angeles, no doubt tired from a nine-day tour but energized by the amazing reception they received all across the east coast. Proud writer, comedian and opening act for Craig, Randy Kagan has been so kind to send photos throughout the tour so those of us in our armchairs at home could share in the experience. He got the “from the wings” shot we would all want to get if we had the chance: CF onstage at Carnegie Hall. http://yfrog.com/n0570dj Randy added: After a magical night at Carnegie Hall, I still feel giddy like a school girl. Ow! My training bra just snapped. Many thanks to Randy for all his hard work.
More pictures are still popping up from the week’s events. If you haven’t had the chance to see the many fine pictures taken by the RSA’s @SariesWick at Carnegie Hall in the most recent post, please take a look. Big, big thanks to Sara for doing such a great job and posting all those pictures before she went to sleep Saturday night.
Meanwhile, the RSA”s @queenvanna was at Craig’s Mohegan Sun show on Friday. She has a page full of pictures from the show and also blogged about her experience.
The RSA’s @LipSyncingScot retweeted a great tweet from @dotwire that made us smile:Â why @CraigyFerg is unique – morning after, his fans report how happy they are that HE had a great time at his show.” #RSA #craigyatcarnegie
The RSA’s General @Malinky2Stoatir was in attendance at Carnegie Hall and plans to blog about the experience. The RSA’s @_WolfSprit did a very nice job summing things up in a twitlonger post. We’d like to hear your story, too. If you have a blog post or other thoughts to share with the RSA about any of Craig’s appearances this past week, tweet us at @RSA_News
The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper mentions Craig’s visit to the Franklin Institute in a column. Look for the third section of the article titled “The Circuit”.
The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro, Massachusetts reviewed Craig’s performance Friday night at the Mohegan Sun Casino.
Surprisingly, the New York Times, New York Post and New York Daily News seem to have had no coverage at all of Craig’s appearance at Carnegie Hall. However, Craig’s legion of fans continues to grow. His chattiness surpassed 400,000 followers on Twitter over the weekend.
Late Late Show assistant producer Andrea Wayland is ready to get back to the studio, as she tweeted Sunday: Final night before returning to the show tomorrow morning. Ahhhhhh! Relaxing and perfect. Andrea is the one who puts out the call for Twitter and e-mail questions for Craig each day and she’ll resume those tweets on Monday afternoon. In the just the week before Craig’s tour, RSA members like @reminduofanyone, @normaapril, @scsmith42 and @HMSFox had their questions read by Craig on the air. Watch for Andrea’s tweet in afternoon each weekday and tweet your question directly to @CraigyFerg. Be sure to include your first name and your town, to make your question eligible to be read on the air. Good luck!
After a week of re-runs while Craig was on the road, it’s back to several weeks of all-new episodes of the Late Late Show beginning Monday with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and NFL player turned analyst Joe Theismann. On Tuesday, Craig welcomes actor Danny Devito actress Brie Larson and a performance by comedian Henry Cho (held over from last week). On Wednesday, watch for actress Marg Helegenberger, and actor/comedian/musician Donald Glover. On the lone guest on the schedule for Thursday is the subject of one of Craig’s favorite impressions, the actor Sir Michael Caine. And on Friday, Craig chats with actor actor Jason Segal, actress Alison Brie and Australian comedian and television host Adam Hills. And as we’ve reported here, comedian Lewis Black and the multi-talented Stephen Fry are expected on the show in the first week of November.
