A Thing for Brimley
The RSA’s @HoboRobot remembers that Wilford Brimley was in the 1982 remake of The Thing and even found a (NOT for the squeamish… trust us on this) picture. He perhaps best known for his role in Cocoon but among his many other credits are The Firm, The China Syndrome, The Natural, a cameo appearance on Seinfeld and a recurring role on the TV series The Waltons. Apart from a brief role in the forgettable Hugh Grant/Sarah Jessica Parker romantic comedy Did You Hear About the Morgans?, the farmer/rodeo rider -turned actor hasn’t appeared in films or television in nearly a decade, so it will be a treat to see him on November 23rd on the Late Late Show!  Update:  Roboskelly Leah reminds us that Brimley starred in the television show Our House (1986-1988) with Deidre Hall and Shannen Doherty.  Now there’s some television trivia!

Fall Tour
Craig Ferguson‘s fall 2011 tour tickets are now available for five of his six planned shows.  The Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena north of Miami is the lone holdout not yet selling tickets but we check periodically and we’ll update you when it happens.  Seats are still available for all shows, particularly in New Jersey… what’s up with that?  Book early to avoid disappointment!  We have updated all of the links on our Live Comedy Tour page to get you to the tickets quickly and easily.  In the past, Craig has not often scheduled live performances in December so these shows may be it for 2011.

River Song Talks Who
In an interview containing SPOILERS if you are not completely up to date on the current season of Doctor Who, the Chicago Tribune interviews Alex Kingston about her role as River Song, her favorite Doctor and much more.  She even has a funny thing to say about Craig at the very end of the story.  Thanks to the RSA’s @jfer21 for finding the link.

Still Hot
After the tear-inducing video from our most recent post, we thought we’d lighten things back up with a tune featuring the one and only Betty White, performing with with British electro/house singer Luciana.
