Brave’s Scotland Release
Although the European premiere of Brave was held back in June, the film opens in wide release in theaters across Scotland on Friday. Scottish Television has a preview, including red carpet interviews with the cast. The film opens in the rest of the UK and Europe in two weeks.

Movie Quiz

Storm Clouds Gather
The RSA’s @HoboRobot spotted a photo of a thunderstorm in Georgia and thought, “Remind you of anyone?” We’re not sure if this is one of those kinds of things where you see the face of Elvis in your breakfast toast, but you be the judge.

Moon Landing Tribute

My husband and I made our second visit to The Late Late Show studio on July 20, 2009, which happened to be the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. A week or so before, I sent an email to Craig asking if he would be mentioning the anniversary in his monologue. Much to the audience’s delight, just before the show was to tape, Craig came out and told us that they sometimes to a little routine with the puppets. I loved those puppets, so was bursting at the seams with anticipation.

Even more exciting was when we found out Craig and company were planning to do the tribute to Apollo 11 with a rousing rendition of the Fireball XL-5 theme song. It literally made me cry, I was so happy.

PS. I’m the Cindy from Mankato, Minnesota who sent Craig the email about telling him about the Sexiest Talk Show Host survey in Marie Claire Magazine (that he was leading by in a landslide). I loved that email segment.[/stextbox]

Tonight’s Guests
