‘Brave’ Nominated for Academy Award
The Disney/Pixar film Brave, featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson as the voice of Lord MacIntosh, has been nominated for an Oscar in the Animated Feature Film category. You can see the fill list of nominees on the Academy’s official website. USA Today gives the film a good chance to win. Scotland’s STV television network and our friends at Scotsman.com report that Scotland’s Oscar hopes this year are pinned to the movie, which featured a mostly Scottish cast. Congratulations to Craig and the entire cast and crew!

New Orleans Show Tapings Planned
Tapings have been scheduled for Craig Ferguson‘s special Super Bowl edition of the Late Late Show, which will air after your late local news on Sunday, February 3rd. Some of the show’s segments will be taped in the studio in Los Angeles on Friday, January 11th at 3:30pm and more will be recorded in New Orleans on Wednesday, January 30th at 6:30 and 8:00pm. Guests for the show are to be announced at a later date. We’ll keep you posted.

Middle-Aged White Guy in a Suit
As Jimmy Kimmel moves up to the 11:35pm time slot on ABC, the Washington Post points out that apart from a few exceptions in syndication and cable, the job of late-night comedy host is still dominated by middle-aged white guys in suits.
