Brave Wins BAFTA
The Disney/Pixar movie Brave, featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson as Lord MacIntosh, won the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award for Best Animated Film on Saturday night. Observers, including the Herald Scotland newspaper, say the honor, along with the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film, boosts the movie’s chances to earn an Oscar.
On to the Midwest
After a week in New Orleans and a weekend in Las Vegas, Craig Ferguson gets to stay home in Los Angeles for a little while before taking to the road again later this month, for a pair of live shows in Wisconsin and Michigan. We always knew Craig gives a duck! On Monday, he presented the tartan-decorated duck given to him by Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond as a gift to Zooey Deschanel. The Scottish Sun newspaper tells the story.
