As Geoff Would Say, “Balls!”

When explorer and author Wendy Booker reached the North Pole at the end of April, she had the first kangaroo bits to make it that far north in her pocket.  On Tuesday’s show, Craig had a picture of them… complete with a Santa hat (Wendy’s team sent us the photo at left).  It doesn’t get much better than that.  Booker is returning home and we hope she’ll be back on the show sometime soon!  You can read Wendy’s posts from her trip on her website.

Buzz About Branagh and Montreal Craig’s interview with actor/director Kenneth Branagh caught the attention of Hollywood.com, BBC America’s Anglophenia blog and New York Magazine.  Meanwhile, the Hollywood trade paper Variety picked up on the news of Craig’s hosting duties at the upcoming Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal in July. Military Appreciation Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker sent out a reminder today, urging support for an organization her boss has worked with overseas:

May is Military Appreciation Month! Thank our Troops & send donations to @USO_of_Illinois! #supportourtroops #USO

Who Is On Netflix? The RSA’s @lafemmechiquita gave us the heads up that season five of  Doctor Who is now available for streaming on Netflix.  And that reminded us that Craig Ferguson’s Does This Need To Be Said will be available on Netflix starting May 20th, which is just over a week away. Craig On Eleven The Late Late Show is on Eleven in Australia and now episodes are available online for Australian viewers on the channel’s website.  The clips do not appear to play in the US. Ace Of Cakes The RSA’s @AnnieSunshine84 says she already has twenty cakes posted on her site with nearly twice that many still being promised.  Have you made your cake for Craig’s birthday on May 17th?  It can be a real one, a drawing or any other sort of cake you’d like.  Visit her cake page for more. Tonight’s Guests Wednesday on the Late Late Show, Craig welcomes back actor Tim Meadows and musician Colin Hay, formerly of the Australian 80’s pop band Men at Work.   Thursday, Craig talks with actress Mary Lynn Rajskub and author Lawrence Block.  The now twice-bumped author Edward Conlin did not appear Tuesday night due to the Kenneth Branagh interview running long.  We’ll let you know when he is rescheduled.
