Color City Coming in 2014
It’s been almost four years since Craig Ferguson walked into a recording studio and narrated an animated film called The Hero of Color City. Now, The Hollywood Reporter says the film is in the final stages of post-production and is expected to be released in 2014. A trailer for the film is being shown at the Cannes Film Festival this week. Christina Ricci, Arsenio Hall and Rosie Perez are reported to be among the voice cast.
Fry’s Frenzy
Actor/author/raconteur Stephen Fry certainly knows how to keep busy. In just the past two months he has wrapped up a well-reviewed run as Malvolio in Twelfth Night at the Globe Theatre, recorded some narration for an upcoming show at the Welsh National Opera, performed a stand up comedy routine in honor of one of his mentors, comedian Peter Cook, is filming a documentary on the City of London, visited Greece to encourage tourism, and still managed to get to Los Angeles to record an interview with Craig. You can easily see why any conversation with him can be fascinating.
America’s Bedtime
According to the Twitter data, the average bedtime across America is 11:39pm, reports the Huffington Post. That means Craig’s cold open segment could make all the difference for whether people decide to stay up to see the show. Thanks to the RSA’s @SecretNakedHobo for the heads up!
