The 63rd annual Prime Time Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday evening, hosted by actress Jane Lynch of the Fox show Glee.

Nerdist in One Week
For those of you who have BBC America on your cable or satellite system, we’re just one week away from the debut of the @Nerdist Chris Hardwick‘s latest venture… a television version of his podcast. And the guests for the pilot show will be none other than Craig Ferguson and the eleventh Doctor Who, Matt Smith. The show airs at 7pm and 1opm ET/PT next Saturday, September 24th. Holiday, Celebrate
Saturday, September 17th is Constitution Day/Citizenship Day in the US, International Coastal Cleanup Day and International Eat an Apple Day.  Go ahead, keep that doctor away!  Sunday, September 18th is Hug a Greeting Card Writer Day (really?), the birthday of silent film actress Greta Garbo and the anniversary of the founding of the US Air Force in 1947.
