Update: People Magazine’s Lynette Rice reports Craig and Company are working on a possible future drama series featuring a female detective. The script is one of the projects currently being developed under Craig’s new deal with Lionsgate Television, about which we have reported previously. It sounds like it could still be some time before the series might appear, but it’s an exciting development.
Tour Kicks Off Thursday
Craig Ferguson‘s 2015 Hot and Grumpy Tour: Walking the Earth kicks off Thursday in Greensboro, North Carolina. Stops in the first week also include Norfolk, Washington, Baltimore, Red Bank, Harrisburg and Bethlehem, PA. HTTYD2 Wins Big at Annies
The DreamWorks film How To Train Your Dragon 2, featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson, cleaned up at the “Annie” Awards, the animation industry’s highest honors. As The Hollywood Reporter explains, the film won six awards, including best animated feature and best director for Dean DeBlois.
The Apostle BG Speaks
In the latest installment of his Joshin’ Around Show, Josh Robert Thompson appears as his preacher character The Apostle BG, to discuss the internet and more. Josh has also recently appeared as himself on other podcasts, including Lowered Expectations and The Don Geronimo Show.
Blast from the Past
The RSA’s @CeliaAmodeo found a poster from a show in which Craig appeared back in 1993. The show was part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and was reviewed in the Herald Scotland newspaper. Their assessment? They said for the show to work, you need “the right maniac” in the lead role, and Craig fit it perfectly.
