Possible Geoff Book?
Geoff Book TitleThe RSA’s @HoboRobot couldn’t resist coming up with a book dust jacked based on Geoff shaking his head at Craig’s “geezer” ramblings during the monologue:

Saw this book in Lakeside Catalog and had to have some fun with it. #2good2ignore @joshrthompson @rsa_news #rsa pic.twitter.com/ttRWXlAinh

McGregor and Welsh on the Tweety05 Ewan McGregor
Craig hasn’t called his Twitter followers his ‘skeleton army’ for a while, but he did on Tuesday, urging his minions to follow Scottish actor Ewan McGregor:

Sassy & fragrant Caledonian movie star is on the twatster. To him my skeleton army! To him I say!

McGregor saw Craig’s tweet and replied:

back at you Big Man. Here’s tae us….. Etc etc etc. x.

Craig then urged the hollowed out volcano to follow novelist Irvine Welsh, author of the seminal Scottish tome Trainspotting:

Scottish genius story maker- upper also in in twatistan. Follow him if ye dare ye skeleton hoardes.

Geoff Love
06 Geoff Petersen Grant Imahara (1)Josh Robert Thompson, voice and puppeteer of Geoff Peterson spotted our story last time about the origins of Geoff. We included a video clip from Grant Imahara demonstrating the capabilities of the first version of the robot skeleton sidekick. Josh corrected us on a detail about how Geoff is controlled and adding the perfect Beavis and Butthead-style joke in the process (at least that’s how we imagine it sounding):

thanks for the Geoff love! (It’s not an iPad, though–it’s a radio control unit. Heh heh. Unit.)

Let Bygones Be BygonesCraig on Bygones
The other day, Craig responded to a tweet from British comedian Danny Baker who sent a photo taken in the mid 90s. Craig was captain of a team on a short-lived game show called Bygones, in which contestants answered music and popular culture questions from the past. The RSA’s Natalie found a partial clip of the show. It starts part way into the game and the other team takes the first turn. About two minutes in, you’ll see Craig leading his team guessing the music being performed and taking the lead.

Geoff’s Origins
The Mythbusters Grant Imahara built Geoff Peterson in 2010. Today, Josh Robert Thompson voices and puppeteers Geoff using a live microphone and an a remote control unit. But in the early days, Geoff had a limited range of motion and had seven recorded phrases, voiced by Craig himself.
