03 Craig Ferguson Shark Week (8)After getting his feet wet as host of “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel a couple of years ago, Craig Ferguson is now taking on a role behind the scenes, as executive producer of a new show for the network. The show, called Shark After Dark, will be a late-night talk show that will allow viewers or Shark Week to interact on social media, along the same lines as Talking Dead, which follows The Walking Dead on AMC. The website Zap2It.com reports that comedian Josh Wolf will host the program. The trade publication Variety goes into more detail about the phenomenon of having a “show after the show” for fans to get involved.

This week, TV Guide provides an inside look at the final episode, including a photo of Craig, not just as a priest but as a celebrity journalist who is also qualified to perform a wedding ceremony. The episode is scheduled to air July 24th.
