Check out the contest page for details.

Audience Experience
Woody After HoursA fan of late-night television, @woodyafterhours, had a chance to attend a taping of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and wrote about his experience. After reading his wonderfully detailed impressions of being in the studio audience, you might want to take a few moments to explore the rest of his website, where you’ll see he writes an ongoing comic strip about a guy hosting his own late-night talk show. Thanks to the RSA’s @Colleen_Byrne for spotting his story!

Comic KudosWho comic serial
Speaking of comics featuring familiar faces, the RSA’s @iknowjojo‘s Doctor Who-themed web comic about Peter Capaldi as the twelfth doctor and Craig as his companion caught the eye of the website io9.com, which praised her work and encouraged people to read it. Meanwhile, she has added a new front page for the comic series, so you can follow along with current and future installments.

If you live in the greater Los Angeles area, you might want to visit the Hollywood Improv on Sunday, September 15, when you can see several comics from the UK, including recent Late Late Show guests Andi Osho and Gina Yashere. Also on the bill is Craig Ferguson‘s talented sister Lynn, who tweeted:

Doing stand up this weekend for the first time in about…ooh I dunno…400 years. Sphincter beginning to contract already.

Jugendsprache: Teenage SlangFerguson Europe map sl
When Craig Ferguson and Geoff Peterson hear the bell ring and start speaking with German accents, they might want to slip in some of the latest German teenage slang. Since Geoff doesn’t have skin, he couldn’t make use of a “tussitoaster,” but on occasion, he has acted a bit “gehasselhofft.”

Roach Moment
Traumatized RoachThe RSA’s @HoboRobot couldn’t resist coming up with a traumatized, yet friendly-looking roach, after Craig’s trouser mishap earlier in the week:

Poor roach, just snackin on junk that smells like cheezy poofs; then a girl screams &scares’m back n2 trash

Nice Suit
Although roaches weren’t involved, Craig’s suit wasn’t quite ready for the start of the show one night.

Secretariat Hosting
Craig with Secretariat slThe online newspaper Examiner.com enjoyed seeing Secretariat sow some wild oats on Monday’s Late Late Show and take a turn at hosting, as Craig Ferguson stood by in the pantomime horse’s stall. We have to admit that apart from the talking bit, Secretariat was able to mimic most of Craig’s opening moves quite well.

In the AudienceMel Ting
In the audience at the show this week was the RSA’s @MeltingEnigma, who tweeted a photo of herself wearing a suspicious mustache. As she explains in a tweet, she got a good seat:

Many years I have wanted to go to Thanks for seating this lady in the front!
