Craig’s ‘Still Game’ Appearance This Week
This season’s series of the Scottish sitcom Still Game wraps up on BBC One this week, with Craig Ferguson guest starring as retired Hollywood stuntman Callum Coburn, who returns to his homeland in an episode called “The Fall Guy.” For those not living in the UK, most of the show’s episodes eventually find their way onto the “tubes” (shhhh) so keep an eye out.

Craig Plans Return To Saratoga
As Craig builds his fall stand up tour, one new date has been added: September 13 at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California, where he last appeared in 2010. Tickets are now on sale. September 14-16, Craig will be at the KAABOO Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Duck Duck Goose Opens In UK
The animated film Duck Duck Goose, featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson, has arrived at theatres in the UK, and will premiere in the US on April 20th. Other voices in the movie include Jim Gaffigan, Greg Proops, Natasha Leggero, Stephen Fry, Carl Reiner and more. Craig voices the role of Giles, who can be heard in a couple of quick moments in the film’s trailer.

Get Your Red Nose
The US version of Red Nose Day is coming to NBC on May 24th, and you can get take part by getting your red nose at any Walgreens or Duane Reade store. It’s all part of a huge effort to raise money to end child poverty. The American version of the program has raised more than $95 million since 2015. Seth Meyers, David Duchovny and Jane Krakowski hosted the first year’s telethon, followed by Craig in 2016. Chris Hardwick was tapped as host in 2017 and will return again this year. The UK version, which began in 1988 after spinning off from the earlier Comic Relief telethons, has raised more than a billion dollars worldwide.

Craig Ferguson will be appearing live at a music and comedy festival in California in September, reports Billboard.com. The KAABOO Festival will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds September 14-16, featuring music acts Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons, Robert Plant and many more. Comedians performing on a separate stage will include Iliza Shlesinger, Craig Robinson and Nick Offerman. For tickets and more information, visit KAABOODelMar.com. Craig will also appear April 27 at a fundraising event for the Voice For The Animals Foundation. Books Ahead
Craig Ferguson and his publishers are continuing work behind the scenes to put two new books on the market. The first will be a follow-up memoir to American On Purpose, which winds up around the beginning of his time at The Late Late Show. The new book will pick up from there but will also include other stories. Craig says he has written the book in short chapters that resemble some of his monologues from the show. No release date has been announced but it may be on the horizon later this year. Also ahead is the long-awaited sequel to his novel Between The Bridge And The River. The new work of fiction, called Sphinx of the Mississippi, promises new adventures and some surprises. Craig’s most recent writing was featured in a compilation of short stories inspired by the art of Edward Hopper and edited by writer Laurence Block. It’s available now in hardcover, paperback, Kindle and audiobook formats. When we hear more details about release dates for the new books, we’ll be sure to pass them along.

Corden On Snap
Current Late Late Show host James Corden is launching a new six-episode show on Snapchat, reports the website Engadget.com. The show’s premise is a behind the scenes look at a fictional reality show, in which he is looking for an eventual successor on the late night show, though he has expressed no plans to depart. He currently stars as the voice of Peter Rabbit in a new film, and recently talked at length with The Sun newspaper about his career.

Tour Planned For Fall
Craig Ferguson says he plans to launch a new stand up comedy tour in the fall. He recently told a caller to his SiriusXM radio show that his team is in the process of booking some dates. No locations have been announced so far, but as they are, we’ll include them on our Live Comedy Tour page, with dates, times, venues and links to tickets. After a huge year on the road in 2015, Craig sharply scaled back his touring, with just a handful of dates in 2016 and 2017. Craig is developing new material following the release of his latest comedy special Tickle Fight, now showing on Netflix.

‘Still Game’ This Week
The Scottish television series Still Game begins its new season on March 8th on BBC One in the UK. Craig makes a cameo appearance at some point in the season, and he has been mentioned in much of the media coverage leading up to the launch, including in the Sunday Post and The Herald Scotland.

The Scottish Daily Record newspaper has been interviewing the show’s stars leading up to the premiere, and all have good things to say about Craig. Interviewees include Paul Riley, Sanjeev Kohli, Ford Kiernan and Jane McCarry, who admits to having a crush on our fearless leader. The show’s eighth season debuts March 8th on BBC One in the UK.
