Port Chester Show
Capitol Theatre Port ChesterCraig Ferguson has added another stand up comedy stop to the May portion of his Hot and Grumpy Tour. He’ll appear at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, about 45 minutes north of Manhattan. Tickets go on sale Friday. Craig’s stand up comedy performance in Ottawa Tuesday night was packed with fans, and Wednesday night’s show is sold out as well. It’s easy to see why Craig enjoys performing in Canada, playing to enthusiastic crowds. Tickets are still available for Craig’s tour shows later this week.

Hot In Cleveland
TVLand’s Hot In Cleveland has its season premiere on Wednesday night, and once again the cast will perform the opening episode live. Since Craig is on the road in Canada, he will not be part of the live show, but his character will return later in the season.

Long Island Stop
NYCB Theatre WestburyCraig Ferguson has added another stop to his Hot and Grumpy Tour, this time on Long Island. He’ll appear at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Sunday, May 11th at 7pm. Craig Opts for OttawaCentrepointe Theatre Ottawa Interior
Craig wrapped up a brief New England visit on Monday evening and heads back to Canada for a pair of shows in Ottawa on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Tickets for both shows in Canada’s capital city are sold out but tickets still remain for Craig’s shows later this week. Canadian comedian Mark Forward opened for Craig in London, Hamilton and Halifax, with Dan Boulger opening in Portland on Sunday. Josh Robert Thompson is rejoining Craig for the rest of the Canadian portion of the tour, with shows in Ottawa, Kitchener, Toronto and Montreal this week.

Craig’s mother-in-law, novelist Linda Cunningham, recently posted a blog about a chance meeting on an airplane. Her latest romance novel is due out soon.

After a few days touring Canada, Craig Ferguson is heading south for a couple of days. He wrapped up a pair of shows in Halifax on Saturday night and will appear at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine on Sunday night. New Zealand Craig FFrom time to time, while searching around the Googly-web and the Facetubes, we notice that there are other people in the world named Craig Ferguson, including an Australian stock analyst and a Canadian hockey player that Craig has mentioned on the show. Recently, we found a young Craig Ferguson who appears to be an up-and-coming harness racing driver in New Zealand.

Handler’s Future
04 Chelsea HandlerRecently, the website DailyFinance.com reported that late-night host Chelsea Handler‘s contract with the E! channel is due to expire soon, and that she is considering moving her show to Netflix to serve audiences on-demand. While no deal has been announced, it would be the first talk show to be offered by the video distribution service.

Craig Dancing
Craig has been dancing to mostly rock-style music with Secretariat these days, but one night on the show, Craig, Beth, Geoff and at one point several members of the audience were dancing to a 1940s-style swinging tune.

HTTYD2 Art slSome new artwork from the DreamWorks animated feature film How To Train Your Dragon 2 has surfaced, in anticipation of its U.S. release on June 13th. IAmRouge.com reports on 11 new images that have been released. For fans of the art behind the films, a book about the artwork and artists is coming in May, from author Linda Sunshine. Meanwhile, Digital Journal lists HTTYD2 as one of its top 10 movies to see this summer.

Craigy Who Part 9
Craig Who Comic 3 slThe RSA’s @IKnowJoJo says the ninth installment of her Doctor Who-themed web comic Craigy Who and Mr. Timey Pants, featuring Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and Craig Ferguson as his companion is now available online. That leaves only the tenth episode still to come before the adventure comes to a close. Meanwhile, the printed version of the comic is in production and is expected to be release in late April. On the project’s Kickstarter campaign, every stretch goal and extra incentive possible has been offered and met, which means backers of the project are getting all sorts of goodies, depending on their level of support. We’ll keep you updated on future developments.
