‘Duck Duck Goose’ Coming To Netflix
After seeing its U.S. release delayed several times, the animated feature film Duck Duck Goose featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson will now forego a turn in American theaters and instead debut on Netflix on July 20th. The film was released in U.K. theaters back in April. You can see the trailer here.
‘Still Game’ To End Run
The Scottish sitcom Still Game, which featured Craig as a special guest in its eighth season, will end after one more season, reports the Scotsman newspaper. The show’s principal characters first appeared in a stage play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1997. Two years later, they were featured in another sitcom, Chewin’ the Fat, before getting their own show in 2002. The show initially wrapped up after six seasons, but after the characters were revived in a successful stage show, they returned to television in 2016.

We’re learning a bit more about the game show pilot Craig will be taping in Glasgow at the end of the month. The show, The Time It Takes, will feature contestants answering as many questions as they can in a given period of time. But the method of timing is up to them: “What takes longer – unwrapping every Werther’s Original in a family pack, filling a rubber boot with custard using a turkey baster, or deflating an air bed and putting it back into its original box?” Once the timer is chosen, a celebrity guest or even the contestants themselves will take on the task. The BBC version of the show, hosted by British comedian Joe Lycett, has been commissioned for at least eight episodes, and will air on Saturday nights on BBC One. Taping for the UK version is scheduled from July 30 – August 3, so the US version will likely be recorded around that same time while the set and crew are available. Craig and company will be pitching his version of the show to American networks and syndicators, so it may be a while before we hear any news about whether it could be picked up. Filming for Kathie Lee Gifford‘s upcoming movie Love Me To Death, co-starring Craig, is wrapping up this week in Scotland. The project will now move into post-production, including editing and preparation for promotion. Kathie Lee has said she hopes it will be released in time for Christmas. We are sad to report the passing of longtime Craig fan Colleen Byrne. Colleen was one of the first to help build a thriving fan community on Twitter and one of Craig’s most dedicated supporters, who would travel anywhere to see him in person. She talked regularly with dozens of fellow roboskellies online and frequently sent us tips about Craig-related news she spotted. She was a career employee of the Library of Congress, a champion of literacy and a fierce fan of the Saint Louis Blues hockey team. Despite being slowed by multiple sclerosis, Colleen worked until just recently, and would save up her vacation time to travel to see Craig perform live stand up comedy, as well as tapings of The Late Late Show and Celebrity Name Game. She met other Craig fans in person at meet-ups in New York, LA, Nashville and elsewhere, enjoying meals and great conversations. And as was evident to anyone who met her, she had an endless supply of kindness, doing whatever she could to help people. We encourage her friends to sign the funeral home’s
