The film will be available in 3D as well as 2D, giving theater-goers a chance to enter the world of Hiccup, Toothless and all of the characters. While not date has been given for another sequel, it is widely expected that the third book in the series will be turned into at least one film, if not two. Scottish PalsGerry and Craig
One of the great things about the press run-up to How To Train Your Dragon 2, has been the fun interviews with Craig and his Scottish pal Gerard Butler. The wire service Reuters conducted a detailed interview with the two of them, talking about the film, Scotland and more. And US Weekly had one of the best photos of the week, capturing Craig and Gerry mid-hug.

Locks of Love
Pont des Arts bridge locks slA railing on the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris collapsed this week under the weight of hundreds of padlocks, reports Mashable.com. You may recall Craig Ferguson drawing attention to the bridge during his visit to Paris a few years ago, explaining that couples put their names on a lock, clamp it to the bridge and toss the key in the river as a symbol of their enduring love. The city’s mayor is seeking suggestions to keep the bridge safe without completely banning locks from the bridge.

Do We Have a Picture?
Angela Paul slCraig Ferguson often jokes on The Late Late Show about confusing pictures of Paul McCartney and Angela Lansbury. You have to admit there are similarities. He starting doing it in the early days of the show, and after a particularly brutal 2007 review in the Los Angeles Times which criticized the photo gag, Craig fought back by doing the joke over and over every day for a year afterward. Thanks to the RSA’s Christina for reminding us of the bad review that kicked the joke into high gear ever since.

The RSA’s @orkneyan found a fun animated GIF of a costumed version of Toothless from HTTYD bouncing around.

Skeleton Marionette
Always in search of interesting things on the interwebs, the RSA’s @hoborobot found a video featuring a skeleton marionette. If you watch closely, you can see what a great performance this is, with the puppeteer creating a connection with the audience.

HTTYD 4?More HTTYD2 sl
It was assumed by many after the  success of the first How To Train Your Dragon film, that it would become a trilogy, following the general plotlines of the papery (book) version of the story. But over at CinemaBlend.com, they’re already talking about the possibility of How To Train Your Dragon 4. Studio higher-ups are reportedly considering splitting the final film into two, in the same way several recent movie franchises have split their final chapter. As Craig Ferguson has said many times, if films do well at the box office, there are very few executives who would say, “I guess we won’t make any more.” Assuming HTTYD2 does well, there will probably be more to come.

Dragon Press Conference
When HTTYD2 premiered in Cannes in May, several members of the cast took part in a press conference. Although it quickly turned into a “let’s ask Cate Blanchett all of the questions” session, it’s still interesting to hear what that cast is saying about the film.
