Promoting ‘Name Game’
Craig Promotes CNGAs spring draws to a close and summer begins, anticipation is building for the fall launch of Celebrity Name Game, hosted by Craig Ferguson. The promotion group Promax is drawing attention to the show and the work already getting under way to promote the show. In a post this week, they explain how the show’s producers have been taping Craig interacting with people on the streets of Hollywood, giving them sample questions and ad-libbing to their reactions. The promos will be shown to stations carrying the show next month. As soon as we see them, we’ll include them here.

New York Memories
Waiting in Line NYC slBack in 2012, fans of Craig Ferguson from all over the world gathered in New York City for one of our fearless leader’s stand up comedy performances, as well as an appearance at the Paley Center for Media. Among them was the RSA’s @bgrhubarb, who put together a fantastic account of her adventure. When posting the link to that post on Twitter this week, she sheepishly admitted that it is being published a couple of years late, but we’re happy to see it. Meanwhile, she has been in Los Angeles this month to see some tapings of The Late Late Show in person. And with any luck, she’ll write it before 2016, right Sticky?

Lessons LearnedCraig Paley sl
The RSA’s Rebecka has complied a list of lessons learned from Craig. We’ve tried to learn those lessons and many more. If you have too, please send us a link to your blog or website and we’d be happy to share it with the rest of the robot skeleton army.

Ferguson Flashback
Craig on Phone slFifteen years ago, Craig Ferguson and his sister Lynn were the subjects of a profile in the Herald Scotland newspaper’s Sunday magazine. The in-depth article features a lot of interplay between Craig and Lynn, and talks more about Craig’s past than his new “Hollywood” life, working on The Drew Carey Show at the time. Writer Billy Adams has reposted the article on his own website and the RSA’s @RaniVermonty found it. Thanks for sending it our way!

Craig on StageCraig on Stage 2010
Back in 2010, blogger ThatDanGuy attended one of Craig’s stand up comedy shows and wrote a great review, praising his work on the LLS as well as on stage. Thanks to the RSA’s @cozyhobo for the link!

Sweden Map
Sweden MapOnce again, the geography department at The Late Late Show was working overtime last week to come up with a new map, so Craig Ferguson could talk about Sweden’s independence day. Sweden, of course, is that country just north of Hasselhoffistan. We have to believe that ABBAstan is a hip, happening place.

Craig at LengthCF and GP in Scotland
Back in 2012, around the time Craig & Company took the LLS to Scotland for a week, the website TVWorthWatching.com published an article by one of the country’s most insightful television critics, David Bianculli. He sat down with our fearless leader for a long, detailed interview. They talked about the Scotland trip but about many other things as well. We’ve posted it once before, and it’s one of our favorites.
