Tour Break
The first batch of shows in Craig Ferguson‘s Hobo Fabulous Tour has wrapped up and will resume in mid-October. Craig appeared in Portland and Eugene, Oregon and Snoqualmie, Washington before popping over the border into Canada for shows in Vancouver and nearby Richmond. He’ll be off the road for about a month and start the remainder of the fall tour on October 18th with seven more shows in Canada. He’ll begin in Alberta, with shows in Edmonton, Lloydminster, Medicine Hat and Calgary; then head to Saskatchewan with shows Saskatoon and Regina; followed by one show in Manitoba at Winnipeg. Then it’s back to the U.S., with shows in the Midwest and the Northeast. You can find all of the venues, dates, times and links to tickets on our Live Comedy Tour page.

Do Not Videotape Craig’s Shows!
Things got a little disrupted at Craig’s show at the casino in Snoqualmie last week. Apparently, a couple near the front were trying to videotape the show, which is against the rules. We’ll take this opportunity to remind you that still photographs (without flash) are fine in most venues, unless they specifically prohibit it, such as The Comedy Works in Denver. But videotaping is absolutely prohibited at all shows. If you are spotted recording video on you phone or any other device, you will be removed from the venue. Just don’t do it!

Despite the kerfuffle over the videotaping, the crowd in Washington enjoyed the show, including Craig fan Carl, who told us he traveled 275 miles to see Craig in person. Carl says he was a police officer for 26 years and had to work swing and graveyard shifts. “I watched Craig on my days off, in the middle of the night, when my family was all asleep. He helped me keep my sanity. Craig was my ‘invisible friend’ for all of those years.”

If you are seeing Craig perform live, we’d enjoy hearing your story and seeing your pictures (no flash and no video!). You can send it to us via our Contact Us page, or just tweet us a link to your own web page, blog, or social media account. We’d be happy to share your story with the rest of the Robot Skeleton Army.

Tour Rolls North
Craig Ferguson‘s Hobo Fabulous Tour is rolling north this week, with stops in Portland and Eugene, Oregon and Snoqualmie, Washington before heading up into Canada for shows in Vancouver and nearby Richmond in British Columbia before taking a break until mid-October. He has performed in Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Saratoga, Del Mar, Reno and Napa, and will have seven more performances in Canada before returning to the Midwest U.S. later in October. In an interview with the Register-Guard newspaper in Eugene, Oregon, Craig talks about performing for live audiences, the new material he has developed for the tour and his decision to not to record a special based on the tour.

Trailer Coming Soon
Kathie Lee Gifford mentioned she plans to show the trailer to her new film Then Came You, co-starring Craig, on Wednesday’s Today show. Set those DVRs!

Film On Track For December
Kathie Lee Gifford‘s upcoming film has undergone a name change, from Love Me To Death to Then Came You. Gifford made mention of the change with Megyn Kelly on the Today Show. Gifford retweeted a mention of the name change this week, and the user-edited IMDB website includes the updated title. Thanks to several alert roboskellies who kept us updated. The film is currently in post-production and is on track to come out in time for Christmas. More songs from the soundtrack will be released in the coming weeks.

Summer Break
Now that Craig has wrapped up filming for Then Came You and has taped the pilot episode of a possible new game show called The Time It Takes, he’s taking a break before heading out on tour this fall. We’re doing to do the same, and taking a short break until things get rolling again in a few weeks. In the meantime, we’re continuing to battle problems with our automated emails, but we will persist and try to find a solution to keep them working. We’ll resume our weekly posts in September. Thank you to all of our loyal readers and many hobo pals who keep an eye out for Craig-related news. We couldn’t do it without you!

Kathie Lee’s Film Soundtrack
When Kathie Lee Gifford‘s film Love Me To Death co-starring Craig Ferguson is released later this year, it will include six original songs in the soundtrack, co-written and performed by Kathie Lee herself. A music video has been produced for the title track, featuring Kathie Lee and Grammy-winning country songwriter-composer Brett James. You can see the video here as it appeared on the Today Show, and you can buy the track on Amazon or on iTunes. Gifford has performed on Broadway, appearing in Putting It Together in 1999 filling in for Carol Burnett. She also wrote the book and lyrics for the musical Scandalous, about the life of Aimee Semple McPherson.

Party Time
After wrapping up filming for Kathie Lee Gifford‘s upcoming movie Love Me To Death and his guest appearance on the UK sitcom Still Game, Craig Ferguson reportedly held a wrap party at his home in Scotland. We sometimes hesitate to link to the newspaper the Scottish Daily Record due to their longstanding tradition of including invasive and irrelevant personal details about celebrities they cover, as well as their frequent tendency to not bother with checking facts (note how many children they claim Craig has), but they were the only press outlet to report on the party, so we include it for your enjoyment.

Bob The Shark
Bob the Shark (comedian and writer Bob Oschack, a longtime writer on Craig’s version of The Late Late Show), is back after a two-year break as a featured performer this week on the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, in the show Shark After Dark, which follows the network’s prime time shark content. Julian McCullough is the new host of the show, which will be broadcast live, as it was for the first two years. The show was hosted by Josh Wolf from 2013-14 and Eli Roth from 2015-17. The show was originally produced by Craig’s production company, and is now produced by Embassy Row (Sony Pictures Television), which handles other discussion shows that follow prime-time programming, like Talking Dead, for AMC Watch What Happens: Live on Bravo and Beyond Stranger Things for Netflix.

Late Night Wars
In this monologue from The Late Late Show, Craig talks about the late night wars and the mystical land of Can-uh-dah.
