‘Color City’
Hero of Color City slThe Magnolia Pictures animated feature film The Hero of Color City will appear in limited release this week on October 3 and eventually rolling out nationwide. The website ComingSoon.net has a summary of the plot and links to the trailer and production stills. In addition being available in theaters, the film will be downloadable from several digital services as well. The film was several years in the making and features the voice talents of Craig Ferguson.

Craig Ferguson‘s Twitter account appeared to have been hacked briefly on Friday. A handful of tweets went out that included random user names and characters. Craig jumped in and tweeted:

Ack. Looks like my tweety account has been hacked. Closing down til further notice.

By Saturday morning, he returned and tweeted:

Tweety problem seems to be resolved. As you were everyone.

So all is well in the hollowed out volcano. The RSA’s learbeer on Tumblr summarized the situation perfectly.

Craig Ferguson (95)From time to time, People Magazine makes mention of Craig. The RSA’s @normaapril spotted an article this week’s print edition of the magazine by Lynnette Rice, talking about Craig’s departure from The Late Late Show in December.

As Celebrity Name Game hosted by Craig Ferguson wraps up its first week, the television website Zap2It.com had a chance to watch some tapings and review the show. In the interview, Craig said he really enjoys the part at the end when he gets to give away some of the show’s money.

New Corden Film
James CordenFuture Late Late Show host James Corden has had a busy year. Along with hosting his own sports-themed show in the UK, the Brit Awards and appearances on panel shows, he also has big roles in two feature films coming out in the next couple of months. As BBC America’s Anglophenia blog reports, Corden is starring in a film about the life of Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts, a mobile phone salesman who blew away the judges with his operatic voice. The film, called One Chance, hits theaters October 10 and will be previewed on Yahoo Screen September 30. In the other film, he’ll be playing The Baker in the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods, alongside Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp. It will be released on Christmas Day.

The crew of Celebrity Name Game is working behind the scenes to make the show run, but they also know how to have some fun. Craig tweeted this week:

Defying ConventionCNG Set
As Celebrity Name Game moves through it’s debut week, television writers are pretty united about their appreciation for the show and for Craig Ferguson as its host. On the website PopMatters.com, writer Daniel Rasmus said this week he hopes Craig will take the same approach with the game show as he did with his talk show; taking it apart piece by piece and having fun with it.
