Tour To Return To CanadaCraig Buff 15 sl
Craig Ferguson is on a short break from his New Deal Tour this week. When he goes back on the road, he’ll have six shows in Canada, followed by seven more in the north central United States. And for the Canadians in Western Ontario, take note: Craig has added a new show in Thunder Bay on Friday, February 5th. It will be held at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium, located at 1 Paul Shaffer Drive… yes, the street is named after that Paul Shaffer, who grew up in Thunder Bay before a long career in music which included more than three decades as David Letterman‘s music director.

Reviewing the Show
Tour Bus 2015As Craig makes is way from town to town, wandering the Earth and solving crimes, he gets covered by the local newspapers. Some interview him ahead of time, while others review the show. Our favorites this week were both uncovered by the RSA’s @bgrhubarb, who mines the interwebs for Craigy nuggets. In this review by The Buffalo News (which Craig tweeted about), the Craig gets high marks, amid some mild spoilers. They have a nice photo gallery as well by Sharon Cantillon. In another positive review from RVAmag.com in Richmond, Virginia, be aware of the bigger spoilers (don’t read if you don’t want to know about some topics covered in the show). And Craig pops up in a different kind of article this week, in which Yahoo News features a “haunted” hotel in every state. Check out their source for the ghost story in Nebraska.

Punk DaysDreamboys
The website PunkNews.com has been posting a series of articles that highlight punk music that might fit together on an imaginary compilation album. In their most recent post, take a look at the photo on top of the article, and track number seven on their list.

Storytelling Event
Lynn FergusonCraig’s sister Lynn Ferguson, an excellent storyteller, has been building a business teaching others about the art of storytelling. And now, she’s producing events where some of those stories can be heard. The first event will be held in Burbank on October 29th, with another show on December 10th. Lynn herself will be hosting, and if you’ve ever heard her monologues (including on public radio’s The Moth) or her one-woman shows, you’ll know you’re in for a powerful evening.

Twitter Banter05 Larry King
Craig’s been active on the tweety this week, congratulating the Mythbusters on their upcoming final season, and chatting away with Larry King on Sunday night while riding the bus. We stitched together their conversation.

Craig Has A Hippo
Craig has fun during an interview on the set of Celebrity Name Game, which the RSA’s @bec_giddy says will soon be available to viewers in Australia on the Arena channel at 11:30pm. Thanks to her and to @bgrhubarb for the heads up!

HTTYD3How To Train Your Dragon 2
How to Train Your Dragon 3, featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson, was at first expected to arrive late in 2016, but will more likely appear in late 2017 or early 2018, according to director Dean DeBlois. In this article containing mild spoilers from Vine Report and this article containing MAJOR plot spoilers [we’re not kidding – don’t read if you don’t want to know the ending – seriously] from Venture Capital Post, indications are that recent layoffs at Dreamworks could push the project to 2018. And while the film is planned to be the final part of a trilogy, the director is keeping open the possibility of future spinoffs. We’ll keep you posted on developments. Thanks to the RSA’s @bgrhubarb for spotting the articles.
