On tonight’s Late Late Show, Craig Ferguson will draw attention to the flooding situation in Nashville (along with large portions of Tennessee, Kentucky and elsewhere) and encourage viewers to donate to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts. Donations are welcomed at RedCross.org.

Craig talked with Scarlett Johansson a little be longer than planned on Wednesday night (who could have seen that coming?), so Seth MacFarlane will be on the show Friday night. Craig’s tweet: Seth McFarlane meant 2b 2nd guest 2nite after Scarlett Johanssen but I talked 2 long 2 her. He got bumped to 1st guest Fri. Everybody wins.

While Scarlett was adjusting his hairstyle on stage, Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker was tweeting about hair as well: HOT show tonight – scarlett johannson and craig’s new haircut hair does grow, people. Looks hot. As does Scarlett. I’m done talkin hair. Gets people all riled up. Show over, going to eat tacos.

Craig has added a matinee show at Carnegie Hall in New York, which he mentioned in a tweet today: Added matinee show @ Carnegie Hall on Oct 23. Evening show sold out & I don’t think it’s smart to piss off New Yorkers Needless to say, those tickets will go quickly. Buy early to avoid disappointment.

Sharp-eyed RSA member DJPheonyx spotted something fun. In a Mashable.com article about Google’s new look for its signature search engine pages, they had several screen captures to demonstrate the changes. As an example, they used the search word “volcano” to display some results… and sure enough, one of the volcano references on the left side of the page was about the #RSA ‘s “Hollowed Out Volcano”. Now that’s some great publicity.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, Craig welcomes NCIS star Mark Harmon, actress Sophia Bush and music by Local Natives.

More pictures from Craig’s Midwest tour are coming in as people talk about his appearances. The folks at the Chicago Theater have posted several great photos of Craig performing the “Oops” show closer on their Facebook page. Thanks to RSA member jwilth for the link.

Thanks also to the author of the most famous Craig Ferguson book report of all time, GretchenSke, who took a great picture of the State Theater in Minneapolis where Craig appeared last Friday.

RSA member anngetty drew our attention to a new book by longtime comedian Paul Provenza about some of comedy’s most biting and satirical practitioners. The book includes Paul’s interview with Craig.

Craig spoke last night at a charity event honoring CBS President Les Moonves and his wife Julie Chen for their work supporting efforts to place foster children. His tweet before the event was classic Craig: About to speak @ charity event in front of bunch of Hollywood mucky mucks. Musn’t cuss or take off my pants. Musn’t. Must not. …. This morning, he gave us this: Up early today. Jetlag + espresso = tweaky riverdance antics before breakfast. I’ll be weepy & cold by lunch.

Craig’s predecessor at the Late Late Show, Craig Kilborn, will start a new talk show on local Fox-owned and operated television stations in the fall, according to a New York Times blog.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, Craig gets his chance to interview actress Scarlett Johansson and writer/producer Seth MacFarlane. Happy Cinco de Mayo, everybody.

That first day back from being on the road is always a tough one. The proof is in Craig’s tweets on Monday: Man I’m tired today. Could barely stat awake during show. Now I know what it’s like for you guys. And moments later: Eek. So tired can’t even tweet. Wrote “stat” instead of “stay”. My poor sausage fingers are limp & weary. The typo patrol never rests.

As hoped, Craig talked a little bit about traveling in Monday night’s monologue:

And the best exchange of the night:

Craig: “You can’t f*ing bleep Morgan Freeman!”
Morgan Freeman: “They wouldn’t f*ing dare!”

That moment right there is why the Late Late Show is so awesome.

The host of National Public Radio’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, Peter Sagal, appeared on the Late Late Show on Friday. He talks about the appearance in his blog. (Thanks to RSA member fgtrplr for the heads up).

Tonight’s guests on the Late Late Show are actors Andy Garcia and Donald Glover.

Craig is back in Los Angeles tonight with an all new episode of the Late Late Show. Will the recently well-traveled host have some comments about his trip? Let’s hope so.

Craig’s able assistant Rebecca Tucker’s car had problems on Friday: A bad day for my Mini. Dead in Beverly Hills. http://twitpic.com/1jsd3c But she liked her rented ride: Getting this rental makes me feel slightly better about dead Mini. I’m way too uncool to be driving this awesome b http://twitpic.com/1jsejk It’s you, Rebecca. Go for it.

Today both Rebecca and assistant producer Andrea Wayland were tweeting about the free Chik-Fil-A being delivered to the studio. Andrea is also the one who reminds us each day to tweet questions to Craig for possible inclusion on the show. She usually asks around 3pm ET/12pm PT (a few hours before taping begins), so that’s a great time to send your tweet to get it noticed. She advises to simply ask Craig questions and he’ll be funny… there’s no need to build in your own joke. And tweeting really does work; several RSA members have had their questions read during the show since Craig started on Twitter back in February.

Feeling crafty today? Christopher Beaumont of the website cubeecraft.com, as seen on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, has come up with a new creation. The entire website is filled with characters you can cut and fold into three-dimensional sculptures and one of the newest is robot skeleton sidekick Geoff Petersen! Just download, print, cut and fold… and you’ll have your own robot skeleton sidekick (voice not included… “Oh my!”).

All new episodes this week on the Late Late Show kick off tonight with actor Morgan Freeman and actress Kate Mara.

One of Craig’s favorite charities, the Lollipop Theater Network, got some great help from the RSA last month, raising thousands of dollars through a Tweet-a-thon. As a special thanks, a Craig Ferguson signed poster is up for auction on Ebay. The poster is made up of the Twitter avatars of the Tweet-a-thon participants. Contact RSA member @LipSyncingScot if you have questions.

RSA member pantherlilycat got to see Craig Ferguson live in Fort Wayne and met him before the show. Check out her blog and her pictures, including the autograph she had framed. RSA member ventilatorchik has posted pictures from her meeting with Craig in Chicago as well. http://yfrog.com/2simg0393wj http://yfrog.com/071003051wj http://yfrog.com/fv1003053j

Craig is enjoying a well-deserved day off before getting right back into the swing of things in Los Angeles. Thousands of people had the chance to see Craig live and in person already this year. Tickets are still on sale for some locations around the country but as Craig would say, “Book early to avoid disappointment.”

Craig’s most recent tweets are about his enjoyment of the windy city and his trip home: I always have the same thought in Chicago as I do in Italy. “Why the hell don’t I live here?” Perhaps I could take over for Oprah. Plane refueling in Scotts Bluff Nebraska. Should be home in 3 hrs. Thanks everybody for a great tour. Landed. Van Nuys Ca. Hooray.

Randy Kagan sent several photos on the tour’s final day: My view in Chicago: http://yfrog.com/2sew7j I love Chicago! http://yfrog.com/j3vhdj Rockin in the lobby: http://yfrog.com/85ucpj View de jour http://yfrog.com/bh7jpj http://yfrog.com/1nwovj Thanks Chicago. I will miss you and Portillos. I need a Tums or two. http://yfrog.com/jd12qlj Already on jet heading home. The tour was awesome. Thx. Everyone! http://yfrog.com/58ttbrj

It’s a week of all new, live (shh!) episodes of the Late Late Show. After many weeks of hearing Josh R. Thompson’s impressions, the real Morgan Freeman pays a visit to CBS Television City on Monday, along with actress Kate Mara. Tuesday’s show includes actors Andy Garcia and Donald Glover. Wednesday, Craig realizes a longtime dream by interviewing actress Scarlett Johansson and will chat with the hilarious Seth MacFarlane. On Thursday, NCIS hunk Mark Harmon is on the show, along with flirty actress Sophia Bush. And on Friday, Craig The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco, comedian Matt Baetz and (ding dong!) if we’re lucky, some tweets and emails with Steven Wright.

Randy Kagan sent a picture taken on Thursday night: Milwaukee theatre. http://yfrog.com/5mqtfxj and then another today: My view in Chicago: http://yfrog.com/2sew7j

Robot skeletons continue to raise money for good causes. RSA member Colleen_Byrne reports that $625 in April proceeds from the sale of RSA t-shirts, sticker and buttons at Robot Skeleton Army Outfitters will go to the Lollipop Theater Network, which will be the designated charity in May as well because they are kicking off the month with a big fundraiser on Sunday.

A week from tonight, Late Late Show regular Betty White hosts Saturday Night Live on NBC. She spoke with reporters about her appearance and again had kind words for Craig, quoted on the website Monsters and Critics.

Hollywood News: What do you think the Craig Ferguson appearances have done for your new appeal?

Betty White: They‘ve been the most fun of any – anything I’ve done. He is just incredible. He’s a good friend. But we – the only thing is we can’t ever dare make eye contact when we’re working together or we both crack up. I don’t know why. We just tickle each other. I love him.

Thanks to all of the RSA members who send us tips, photos and story ideas. We appreciate your help in keeping up with Craig and his Robot Skeleton Army.

Craig had two big shows in Milwaukee last night and heads to Minneapolis, Minnesota tonight. One reviewer from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel blogged about the show. Craig tweeted after the show: Fresh LLS shows start tonight through the miracle of pre taping. All other late night shows live of course. ( also cartoons are real) And he added this gem: Pabst theater has deck & vinyl collection backstage. Listening to old Bowie. Oh sweet Lord it’s wonderful.

Randy Kagan offered a picture of Milwaukee for us to enjoy: View from my window in Milwaukee. All the buildings are made of cheese. http://yfrog.com/7hsywkrj

After tonight’s Minneapolis show, Craig wraps up the tour in Chicago on Saturday night and heads home to Los Angeles.

Friday fact: If @CraigFerg’s 188,202 followers stayed two to a room, they’d fill every hotel in Los Angeles County. Road trip!

Another all new Late Late Show tonight features actress Lauren Graham and author/public radio game show host Peter Sagal.
