From all the tweeting and squeeing we’re seeing, it looks like it was another fun time for the #RSA at Craig’s live stand up shows in Las Vegas. We’ll hopefully be able to post some photos tomorrow as more come in.

Even professional poker player Phil Hellmuth spotted Craig and his wife Megan at a Vegas hot spot and tweeted about it: “…at the Golden Nugget. Out of 2-7 tournament, saw Craig Ferguson w wife. Having a drink.

Craig got a brief mention in the Los Angeles Times, about his appearance at a fundraiser last month with Bob Saget. Craig’s quote appears in the article’s second section.

Lots of exciting guests are on tap for this week’s all new episodes of Late Late Show. On Monday, Craig welcomes Monty Python alum Eric Idle and NFL player turned actor Terry Crewes. On Tuesday, the always effervescent author and playwright John Waters returns, along with Academy Award nominated actress Taraji P. Henson. Actress Kyra Sedgwick and “Draco” himself, Tom Felton appear on the show Wednesday. On Thursday, chef Wolfgang Puck feeds Craig and reggae/rap duo Damian Marley & Nas bring the music. And to finish the week, veteran comedian and newly minted Twitterer Denis Leary joins Craig, along with comedian John “Hippieman” Novosad.

It’s Saturday, Craig is in Vegas and more than his show is hot. Sweltering temperatures in the Southwest have everyone sweating. Craig tweeted today: Jeez. It’s 110 in Vegas. My implants have melted and my eyebrows have scorched off. Won 2nd prize in a AARP Cher lookalike contest

The Las Vegas Sun listed Craig’s appearance again today.

Thank goodness for Malinky2Stoatir, who has been painstakingly restoring important videos about Craig Ferguson to YouTube on her new channel, TVsCraigFerguson, including not only clips of the Late Late Show, but interviews of Craig by others. Last year, Craig sat down with former Disney top dog Michael Eisner on CNBC for a very candid interview. They talked about Craig’s career and some of the key monologues in the Late Late Show… including Craig’s now well-publicized thoughts of suicide and the deaths of his father and mother. If you’ve not seen this interview before, enjoy.

We’ve been hearing rumors about upcoming guests in June including Jean Michel Cousteau, who will likely have something today about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, comic book legend and Twitter battle wager Stan Lee, and if we’re very lucky, James Dyson himself will be on the show to talk about “the proper amount of suction”. Keep reading the RSA News for specific dates!

Friday fact: If each of Craig Ferguson’s 215,230 followers had 3 gallons of milk, they could fill an Olympic sized swimming pool. Pass the corn flakes!

Craigy went a little wild on the tweety last night, extolling the virtues of the Dyson ball vacuum. Hopefully he found it had the “proper amount of suction”: Just used Dyson ball vacuum for 1st time (on rug not on balls). I am scared and humbled by it’s awesome power. Perhaps we’ve come too far. Just used Dyson ball vacuum on my balls. I’m in love. Also. Found a penny. Emptied Dyson Ball vacuum for the first time. Found Jimmy Hoffa.

Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker is a marathon runner and will be in a race this weekend: Best thing about running a marathon this weekend? Carb loading. Lots and lots of carb loading. Good luck, rebtuck!

We’re told that a few tickets remain for Craig’s weekend stand up performances at the Venetian in Las Vegas. He’ll appear live on stage at 9pm tonight and tomorrow night, June 4th and 5th… and yet he’s “live” on television in Los Angeles. (Shh!)

Darn those sneaky producers. They slipped Adam Goldberg into last night’s show without letting us know, and Jeff Stilton got bumped. We’ll let you know when he’ll be back.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, “Magic Week” concludes with magician Ed Alonzo. Vociferous and voluptuous actress Jennifer Tilly returns to talk through another segment (with Craig not getting a word in edgewise), plus don’t miss the return of Dirk Weems on a new edition of ESPN-UK.

Craig heads back to Las Vegas tomorrow for a pair of shows at the Venetian, Friday and Saturday nights. So far, we’ve heard that RSA members Colleen_Byrne, Fanny57, SariesWick, LolLioness and RSAScout are going to see Craig’s June 5th show. We’re hoping for pictures and stories, ladies! We’ll try to include any submissions early next week.

Entertainment Weekly was watching last night’s Late Late Show and picked up on Evangeline Lilly’s plan to become a children’s book author, as well as her offer to take off her dress for Craig.

Someone pretending to be former President George W. Bush joined twitter this week, according to an article in the Christian Science Monitor, which mentions Craig as an example of a successful celebrity tweeter.

Magic Week continues tonight on the Late Late Show with sleight of hand magician Jamy Ian Swiss, plus comedian Jeff Stilson.

We have two programming notes about Friday night: Due to a schedule change, actress Jennifer Tilly will be Craig’s guest, plus DirkWeems tweeted that he’ll be on tomorrow night as well: I’ll be hosting “ESPN-UK” on Friday’s Late Late Show. Special guest: my arch-nemesis Stanley Wilson. Booyah and, to a lesser extent, Huzzah!

Craig and the whole crew will be back in the studio tomorrow night to begin a three-day “Magic Week” on the Late Late Show. Craig did tweet today, promoting his next live appearances: 2 days til I return to Vegas and the redheaded midget prostitute who stole my heart. ( and wallet). (and car) (and toupee) The photo comes from Randy Kagan, who gave it a simple title: Hostage situation. http://yfrog.com/3zihuuj

Craig will appear live again this weekend at the Venetian Hotel and Casino at 9pm on Friday and Saturday, June 4th and 5th. Since he has been spending more time there, Las Vegas Magazine put together a short profile.

Last night’s broadcast of Willie Nelson’s appearance on the LLS may be one of the last times you had to see him with his trademarked long hair. Willie gave theboot.com a practical reason for cutting off his hair.

RSA member mobudaki asked us to pass along word of her missing cat, which escaped its carrier at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. If any robot skeletons can help, she would appreciate it.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, perhaps actress Evangeline Lilly can cast some light on the crazy series finale of LOST. Actress/musician Charlyne Yi will catch up with Craig and “Magic Week” begins magician LaRaf.

We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.

Surprise, surprise… on Friday night’s show, Shirley Manson made an unpublicized appearance and dropped bombshell: She recently got married to an unnamed American. The story was quickly picked up by several outlets, including Scottish papers The Daily Record and the Sun.

The Daily Record’s George Galloway blogged about Craig this weekend as well… the entry is the second on the page.

The Minneapolis version of the online newspaper The Examiner has a story about the bunny rabbit puppet with the foul mouth seen on the last couple of shows.

Voice actor Josh Robert Thompson, the voice behind Geoff Petersen, was profiled on the local CBS station in Los Angeles.

Craig & Co. have been mostly quiet on Twitter but will be back in the studio tomorrow. Craig had a couple of tweets over the long weekend, the first supporting Donald Glover (you can read more about why in the Washington Post): MrDonaldGlover RETWEET! #donald4spiderman And the other wishing everyone a great holiday: Nice day today. Marinated my burgers in hot sauce. Then went to a barbeque. Happy Memorial Day folks. Thanks to all who serve.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, a classic (rerun) episode from April 16th, featuring singer Willie Nelson and actress Ellie Kemper. New shows return tomorrow night with a special three-day “Magic Week”.

It’s a great holiday weekend for America, everybody.

Memorial Day is specifically about honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. We remember not only those who died in the Civil War, the World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, the first Gulf War and many other armed conflicts of the past, but those who have given their lives very recently in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the globe. Hundreds of thousands place their lives in danger on our behalf every day, with millions of friends and family back home thinking of them every day. Enjoy your three day weekend but be sure to take a little time to remember those who gave all, to make sure you are free to enjoy it.

With a couple of days off next week, the Late Late Show team is in the studio for a rare Friday taping (shh!). Craig’s able assistant Rebeca Tucker is philosophical about it: At the office on a Friday. again. (I am really work spoiled when I start complaining about a 5-day work week). She also enjoyed a little lunch from the Colonel: Take that, dieters! Proof of my KFC Double Down dinner. For the record – it was AWESOME http://twitpic.com/1rvf8z

Meanwhile, LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland is making the most of a new intern: Fancy coffee today & am looking forward to the delicious brkfst sandwich being brought to me by a new intern. It’s his 4th day.

RSA News is taking the holiday weekend off to relax and enjoy the unofficial start of summer. We’ll return late on Tuesday with our usual post. In the meantime, here’s who’s coming up on the Late Late Show:

Tonight, Craig welcomes comedian Jeffrey Ross and music by The National. The re-run fairy pays a visit on Monday and Tuesday. First, you’ll see the May 3rd episode featuring actor Morgan Freeman and actress Kate Mara, followed by a rebroadcast of the April 16th episode with Musician Willie Nelson and actress Ellie Kemper. Fresh new episodes return on Wednesday with a three-day version of “Magic Week”. On Wednesday Lost actress Evangeline Lilly returns to tempt and tease Craig, along with actress Charlyne Yi and magician LaRaf. Thursday’s magic is courtesy of sleight of hand master Jamy Ian Swiss and Craig talks with comedian Jeff Stilson. And next Friday, Craig welcomes actor Jay Mohr and magician Ed Alonzo.

Don’t forget, Craig is once again live at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Friday and Saturday, June 4 and 5.
