Craig is wrapping up his Discovery Channel taping in the Bahamas and returning to Los Angeles. Last night, he tweeted to let us know he’s doing all right: Swam with sharks today. Blew my mind more than good LSD. Thanks to divers @ Stuart Coves in Bahamas I still have fingers to tweet.

Rebecca Tucker sent two new photos: Sharks! http://twitpic.com/206zh8 Perfect last lunch- conch fritters, conch salad and a grape Fanta http://twitpic.com/20i5gg

And Randy Kagan is getting ready for the new tour: Fame Adjacent Tour picks up at the Wilbur in Boston. It’s the place CF taped his special and my DVD. Great folks. Yes i said Folks.

In the fall of 2009, while promoting his autobiography, Craig appeared on Fox News with Greta van Susteren.

Craigy is swimming with the sharks this weekend, quite literally. He tweets: A 12 ft hammerhead shark swam by me today. Yet another reason I’m glad not to be a grouper. Sharks FTW.

Meanwhile, his assistant Rebecca Tucker is chronicling the dives for us: First dive day! http://twitpic.com/1ztfyw Practicing http://twitpic.com/1ztgct http://twitpic.com/1ztijk no loss of limbs and no vomiting = successful first day of taping shark show! Craig underwater, sharks around boat. This is insane! Taking fish head down to lure more sharks to craig. I would not want the job of bait carrier http://twitpic.com/204t9j First dive with the sharks is finished and he is in one piece! Hooray! http://twitpic.com/204vd4

Craig’s standup comedy pal Randy Kagan is chiming in with a string of tweets:

Right now my boss is swimming with sharks. I’m going to give Fallon a call just in case.

What kind of wine goes with Late Late show host?

I’m warning the sharks, he’s a liitle gamey.

I never swam with a shark. I did bathe with a blow fish.

They smell blood. Oh God! I hope he’s not on his period!

I got hammer head once. Couldn’t walk for a week. Yet i could skip.

I am not with Craig. The ocean is too salty, wet and full of sea men. Salty, wet, full of sea men. Remind you of anyone?

The Late Late Show with Randy Kagan does have a nice ring to it. Hmmm. Glad I slipped sardine cologne into his luggage.

And back in Los Angeles, LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland is jealous: Is very VERY jealous that @rebtuck is out on a boat. Not to mention seeing @CraigyFerg dive with sharks!!! IN THE EFFING BAHAMAS!!!!

Today is Independence Day in Madagascar, so please feel free to bask in my glow, giant pansies.

Craig is in the Bahamas, recording his segments for “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel in August. He tweeted: Arrived in the Bahamas for Shark Week. If the marine life is even half as friendly as the peeps I’ll be fine.

All this week, we’re featuring an appearance Craig made in October of 2009 at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater in San Francisco. A fan who goes by the YouTube user name littlefishy0 recorded the interview. Today, we conclude with parts 8 and 9, wrapping up the audience Q & A session.

Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker has been setting up his visit to the Caribbean, in preparation for “Shark Week” in August. She has been tweeting about her progress: Leaving tonight for Bahamas to have pre-shoot pow wow with the sharks (aka begging them not to eat the boss) Followed by this: Just dined with the crew from Discovery/Shark Week – they encouraged me to bring a barf bag on the boat, which has me a bit concerned.

Meanwhile, LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland is again reminding the roboskelly faithful how to get their tweets read on the air, with these tips: Calling all #RSArmy #LateLateShow Fans: it’s time 2 send @CraigyFerg Q’s 2 read on the show w name/town. ORIGINALITY works – weird doesn’t.

How To Tweet Craig (part 1): Ask a question, somewhere in it put where you’re from. Don’t repeat & send the same question every day.

How To Tweet Craig (part 2): send Q’s TO his twitter @CraigyFerg. Don’t be gross or ask things you know he can’t read on air.

How To Tweet Craig (part 3): You can imagine how many of the SAME Q’s he gets. SAME = BORING. Be different w/ what you ask. Have fun!

Update: The Kevin Pollak Chat Show interview with Craig Ferguson is now available on the the archive section of Kevin’s website. Please note that Kevin usually talks at the beginning of the show; in this case for about 14 minutes before introducing Craig. If you didn’t have the chance to enjoy it live, please take a look. Many of those watching pointed out the Craig’s accent is a little more Scottish in the informal setting than on the Late Late Show. It’s a great in-depth interview!
