Sid the Bunny mugs and t-shirts are now available in the RSA store. Thanks to Colleen_Byrne for helping to outfit the Robot Skeleton Army and remember, all proceeds go to charity.

Grant Imahara tweeted from ComicCon: After @jedwhedon‘s epic b-day bash, took a cab 2 hotel and damn near scared myself sober with the robot skeleton standing in my room. Geoff can have that effect on people, Grant.

Examiner.com interviews photographer Dan Dion, whose most recent book includes photos and images of comedians, including Craig.

It’s another week of fresh, new episodes of the Late Late Show, beginning Monday with actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan and actress Mary Lynn Rajskub. On Tuesday, Craig welcomes his fellow How To Train Your Dragon castmate America Ferrera, biologist Dan Riskin and comedian Fred MacAulay. After a wonderful interview on Kevin Pollak’s internet Chat Show, Craig returns the favor and invites Kevin on the LLS Wednesday, along with actor Ted Danson. On Thursday, Craig talks with actor Michael Clarke Duncan and NCIS: LA actress Daniela Ruah. Finally on Friday, he opens emails with actress Mindy Kaling, tgalks with model/actress Paulina Porizkova and listens to music by MGMT.

He is likely to be the hit of ComicCon, as Rebecca Tucker tweeted: Geoff takes a road trip http://twitpic.com/25whek That’s right, the one and only Geoff Petersen is headed for his appearance in San Diego. If any other roboskellies are there, pictures and stories are always welcome!

The San Jose Mercury News has discovered Craig and is encouraging readers to watch.

Back in January of 2007, Craig was a guest on the National Public Radio quiz show “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me”, playing their celebrity ‘Not My Job’ game. That show was rebroadcast on NPR last weekend. In case you missed it, here’s the link.

@Twobit333 – One of the names Craig used to dance under!

As for the hashtag, the poll seems to show that #BabyFerg is the preferred alternative, so tag away RSA’ers, any time you’re talking about the new addition to the Ferguson family.

#BabyFerg 81%
#CongratsCraig 13%
#BabyFerguson 0%
#BabyCraigan 6%

Today is Wrong Way Corrigan Day, named for a pilot with an unusual story. He wanted to follow Charles Lindbergh with another solo flight across the Atlantic but was told his airplane was unsuitable. He then set off from the Brooklyn, NY on what he said was a planned return trip to California but ended up in Ireland.

Talk about a great day for America! Ghost Rider 2 with Nicolas Cage is coming soon to a theater near you. That must have made Craig’s night. #flamingskullsFTW On an unrelated (we think) note, Criag tweeted an interesting picture this afternoon: http://tweetphoto.com/33039299. Chicken car. Can’t wait to hear what that’s about.

Craig and Rebecca had a chance to preview what’s coming up for Shark Week on the Discovery Channel in August. Both tweeted about it. Craig said: Just saw my shark week special “Best Bites”. Amazing! Very proud to be part of it. Thanks @discovery And Rebecca said: Watched a cut of the Shark Week show last night – I laughed, I cried, I threw up a little at the sight of a mangled human leg (not Craig’s!)

Meanwhile, the folks at Discovery.com are asking viewers which celebrity they would like to see make a guest appearance on Mythbusters. So far, Alton Brown seems to be winning the poll but Craig is still among the top vote-getters. Could a Robot Skeleton Army push help propel him to the top? Note: You have to sign up on their site to take part in the poll.

Some baby names have already started to come in to RSA News. Have a suggestion either for a real name or a funny one? Send us your suggestions using the form on the right side of the page. ——>

A few were straightforward suggestions for names, nearly all of them for girls and four of them specifically to name the baby after Craig’s mother:

@beammelate – Christina/Kristina,Abigail
@Ladyjanet – Netta- for his mom.
@AnnaCarline – Robert or Janet after your parents.
@sevija – Janetta
@chelancat – Janet (Craig’s moms name)

Others were funny ideas from some witty roboskellies:

@LOLLioness – Callista Rose, if it`s a boy
@ellejay – Farley Otis Farthingay Ferguson – Initials would be F.O.F.F.
@guinfred – nigel betty ferguson
@cann – Rosaline Sara-Ann (R.S.A)
@AnnaCarline – Bing Hitler?
@eecricket – Sean Connery Ferguson

Also, right below the baby name form, we have a poll, suggested by @bgrhubarb and @Fergufool: Which #hashtag should RSA members use when tweeting about it? We’ll pass along the results after a few days of voting. ——>

LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland had a reminder today about sending in questions for Craig to read on the show: LLS fans, please make sure you tweet DIRECTLY to Craig, not to me. Thanks!!

The Late Late Show ends the week featuring actress Ellen Page and music by Julie Gribble.

Reports of the Ferguson’s baby news continue to pour in from different outlets, including National Public Radio, USA Today, E! Online and UPI, which curiously could only come up with a photo of Craig with Brooke Shields, rather than Megan. On last night’s show, Craig appealed to the media not to pester the couple about the pregnancy, saying he would let us know when the baby is born.

Baby naming ideas are already starting to swirl. Craig and Nerdist host Chris Hardwick traded tweets. Hardwick said: very excited to hear of the impending arrival of William Hartnell Ferguson!!! And Craig replied: Actually trying to persuade wife that Patrick Troughton Ferguson would be awesome. She says only if it’s a girl. (Both names are of actors who portrayed Dr. Who.) Might be a tough sell, Craig. So, roboskelly faithful, what are your ideas for baby names? Use the form on the right side of this page to send us your ideas… whether regular or funny. We’ll post some of the best! ——>

Even Drew Carey has weighed in on the news, with this tweet: I too, was once impregnated by Craig Ferguson. “Carey, you’re f-f-f-f-f….” 🙂 #MrWickfanfiction

A new blog has appeared, with the goal of chronicling the history of the Robot Skeleton Army. You can check out their page at: rsahistory.blogspot.com and follow them @RSA_History on Twitter.

It’s a big night on the Late Late Show as Craig listens to the music of Marina & The Diamonds and talks with multiple award-winning actor Nicolas Cage. Craig tweeted: Nic Cage on 2nite for @BruckheimerJB movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. If it’s 1/2 as good as Ghost Rider it’ll be awesome. #flamingskullsFTW

It’s a great day for America, everybody. Yes it is! Get ready for the pitter-patter of little feet around the hollowed-out volcano. Craig tweeted at 1pm Pacific Time today: Holy crackers! Mrs F is pregnant. How did that happen? …oh yeah I know how. Another Ferguson arrives in 2011. The world trembles. Craig married art dealer Megan Wallace Cunningham in December of 2008. This will be the couple’s first child together. Craig has a nine year-old son, Milo, from a previous marriage. Digitalspy.com, People Magazine, US Weekly, ABC News, Examiner.com, ontheredcarpet.com, Zimbio.com, the Toronto Sun and PopEater.com have coverage. Congratulations Craig and Megan!

Update: There is already a nice video tribute, thanks to RSA member SandraMG.

The RSA’s banana_happy spotted that Craig’s tweet had been re-tweeted more than 300 times in a matter of hours and made the top of the list on Twitter’s home page. We are glad that Craig himself got to break the news to the world… not a common thing in today’s world of celebrity news.

Busy news day: Craig’s tweet tonight: Robot skeleton & once trusted sidekick Geoff Peterson to attend comicon. I won’t. So begins last late night war & the rise of the machines Any roboskellies going? We’d enjoy seeing your pictures and hearing your stories!

The Australian media have finally picked up on Craig’s denial of this Monday’s tabloid host rumor.

Louie Anderson enjoyed his appearance on the Late Late Show: Had a blast on ferguson, Craig’s so great and really funny! then I went to the comedy store to work on my new twilight bit, so fun!

Our readers continue to regale us with expressions poetic. RSA member Dot2Den offers this limerick on a shark theme:

There once was a shark called sharky,
Who stated to me quite starkly,
I think it’s a sin,
The way some cut off your fin,
For a cure that is simply malarkey!

Tonight on the Late Late Show, Craig welcomes actor Alfred Molina and comedian Cathy Ladman.

Want to take part in Shark Week on the Discovery Channel? They’re looking for videos from people singing about Shark Week. Take a look at their submission video to see what we mean. Since Craig is hosting this year, wouldn’t it be great to see some roboskellies showing their support? Thanks to loyal RSA member LipSyncingScot for posting the tweet/link.

Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker posted this tweet yesterday: Know what’s not cool? Posting Craig’s stand-up gigs on youtube. Please don’t do it. Thanks!

Craig tweeted today as he headed to an appointment with his therapist: Off to talking doctor. Ah therapists, you’re the psychic friends network of the bourgeoisie.

French actress Marion Cotillard is among Craig’s favorite guests to interview. She appears tonight, as does comedian one of Johnny Carson’s favorite comedians, Louie Anderson.

The RSA got a little buzzed up this afternoon when an Australian tabloid newspaper reported than an Australian comedian had signed a deal to temporarily host the Late Late Show for six weeks. Craig himself commented on the article in a tweet this afternoon: I hope reports I’m being replaced by an Australian are false. CBS would never allow a foreigner to do the show. Or would they? Oh no! And LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland tweeted to RSA member bgrhubarb: That’s just it! They are RUMORS. False. We’re here…I’ve seen him with my own eyes. Pass it on! That seems to be the definitive answer.

Update: Craig continued to humorously tweet about the rumor:

I“m not taking a six week vacation. There is no guest host. . Cocaine is not addictive. #sometimestheinternetcontainsuntruths.

@michaelianblack People will love your hilarious kangeroo stories. Good to see an Aussie boy doing so well. #michaelianblackisntaustralian.

I just heard that Australian hunk @michaelianblack is taking over from Nicole Kidman in General Hospital. #batshitinternetgarbage

Thanks to @michaelianblack for filling in for the last 6 weeks. Many commented on how Scottish his Australian accent sounded.

Meanwhile, Michael Ian Black had fun with the rumor as well:

Will be on “Late, Late Show” tonight. If I kill Craig Ferguson, I become host right?

I just read that @craigyferg is taking a six week vacation and I am the guest host!!! AWESOME!!!

For those of you wondering if I am secretly Australian, the answer is yes, and I will be announcing it during my guest-hosting gig on LLS.

Also, for those (@craigyferg) wondering how you spell “kangaroo,” in Australia we spell it “kangeroo.” Pronounced: “barbie.”

My first guests when I host “LLS” sans @craigyferg – a wombat and a dingo and Mel Gibson. The wombat and dingo will eat Mel Gibson.

For those wondering if I am really guest-hosting for @craigyferg for six weeks, would I be on his show tonight if it WASN’T true?

The one part of that exchange that is true is the Michael Ian Black will be a guest on tonight’s LLS (see full guest list below). Craig is also promising to give us a look at injuries to his left arm, suffered in a fall from an amusement park slide last week: Full story of the Vermont Alpine Slide Incident on the show tonight. I will show boo boo…. And also where I got hurt.

Randy Kagan sent along some photos from inside Craig’s private plane: I put the G in G4. http://yfrog.com/bg1ctgj Rebeca chatting with one of the pilots. http://yfrog.com/6byclj Jeff Kickin it in the movie room. http://yfrog.com/jwx07j Our Queerless leader. http://yfrog.com/5cn38nj

Our friend and poet LateLateLass is moving from Clarihews to limericks, drawing on one of Craig’s quirks:

There once was a laddie named Craig,
Who wouldn’t eat chicken with egg.
He caused such a stir,
The mad restauranteur
Said, “Go find a hobo and beg!”

Tonight on the Late Late Show, Craig talks with Big Brother host Julie Chen, actor/comedian Michael Ian Black and brings us the music of country star Dierks Bentley.
