With their vacations winding down, Late Late Show team members are squeezing in last-minute travel and fun.  Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker is a runner and sent this tweet:  Plz send out good thoughts for Team Late Late Show at the Santa Barbara Triathlon this weekend! We’ll do it!  Good luck, Rebecca.  Meanwhile, LLS producer Michael Naidus is on his way home from South America:  Sunset in Montevideo. http://twitpic.com/2i7nq0 Spent day in Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO heritage city, seaside in Uruguay. Tomorrow: taxi, ferry, taxi, plane, plane, taxi. Pillow. We’ll certainly welcome you home, Michael.

An RSA member was kind enough to send us this wonderful newspaper article published in 2005, just as Craig was beginning his run on the Late Late Show but we’ve misplaced that contributor’s name… please let us know and we will credit you properly!

As Australia continues to roll out new digital channels, at least one blogger speculates that a deal between Ten Network and CBS to operate the new “Channel 11” might mean a future home for Craig in Oz.  It’s speculation only at this point but it would be exciting for Aussie fans who currently can only see Craig on the googly-web.

Don’t forget, we’ll be opening the RSA News special event live chat room on Monday night from 11pm-4:45am Eastern Time ( 8pm-1:45am Pacific) for RSA members to talk about the first new Late Late Show in a couple of weeks.  Just look for the chat room button under the title bar on Monday.  Join us and we’ll have fun talking about Craig and the show!

As for tonight, it will be the final night of shows from the re-run fairy for a while.  Enjoy the show from June 7th, with Craig’s guests comedian/author Eric Idle and actor Terry Crews.

After two weeks of the re-run fairy, the volcano is starting to buzz about new shows returning on Monday. To help enjoy the evening, we’ll open the RSA News special event live chat room from 11pm-4:45am Eastern Time ( 8pm-1:45am Pacific)… that’s 90 minutes before the show airs in the east and central time zones and about ten minutes after it’s over in the west (we’ll be very sleepy by then).  It’ll be right here on the site… just look for the chat room button under the title bar on Monday.

The Lollipop Theater Network helps to bring feature films to hospitalized children.  They’ve just landed another new release and let us know:  So happy hospitalized kids w/get 2c NannyMcPheeReturns days aft opens in theaters.Same time as u & me! #lollipoptheater

Our thanks to the RSA’s @NadineWavy for finding this short sketch we believe is from Craig‘s UK show The Ferguson Theory. The clip pretty much speaks for itself. Enjoy it… you too, ladies.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, a reprise of the May 12th episode with Craig’s guests:  Actor Bryan Cranston and actress Angela Kensey.

Voice actor Josh R. Thompson (the voice behind robot skeleton sidekick Geoff Petersen) is having fun recording an animated series: Recording MORE new voices4 “American Dad”! Hear me as David Schwimmer, Al Gore, Michael Moore & others, this Fall on Fox!

LLS producer Michael Naidus may have had a little trouble sleeping last night, based on his tweet:  Today is a national holiday in Uruguay; I know this because of the concert outside my hotel window.

RSA member @isntmynamecool found a clip of Craig from an early stand up comedy appearance on Scottish television for us.  The Scottish accent is here, loud and clear… including his Sean Connery impersonation.

On tonight’s encore presentation (rerun) on the Late Late Show, we are expecting actor Antonio Banderas and comedian Paula Poundstone, from the May 26th episode.

Craig Ferguson‘s robot skeleton army is numerous and strong but the lofty heights of Twitter are still some distance away.  Britney Spears has been displaced by Lady Gaga as the most followed Twitter user. The Christian Science Monitor explains in today’s edition, which mentions Craig briefly.

LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland is enjoying some time in Hawaii, as evidenced by her tweet:  i have no idea what timezone i’m in. She may not know what time it is but she knows where she is, tweeting pics from her scuba dive:  Diving in Maui!! http://yfrog.com/n4jx5px

In case you were thinking about buying a snake mug like the one Craig has on his desk, you might want to take the advice of the RSA’s @RaginaPhalange, who tweeted:  I ordered my snake mug from Albuquerque Rattlesmake Museum Gift Shop & only paid $19.95 compaid to $35+ on ebay. #RSA The museum doesn’t have an online giftshop with a shopping cart but it does have a giftshop page on their website with a phone number you can call to order.

Last night’s scheduled guests were Willie Nelson and Ellie Kemper but our friends at CBS pulled a fast one and the show turned out to be an encore presentation with Tim Allen.  In case you want to see Willie and Ellie again, the RSA’s General @Malinky2Stoatir posted the episode for your enjoyment.  Will tonight’s planned May 10th episode with actor Russell Crowe and music by Wilco show up at 11:35pm (or the time in your region)?  You’ll have to tune in to find out.

In one of Craig‘s many past lives, he starred in a British show called The Dirt Detective.  As our General @Malinky2Stoatir tweeted, episodes are showing up:  Big ups to STV! The Dirt Detective now available on YT http://bit.ly/avtOqx (tnx @jon_melville) #RSA #craigferguson But NOT avail to tubulators in the US…oddly, US peeps can still see eps here http://www.stv.tv/ or order from http://amzn.com/B001053024

LLS producer Michael Naidus tweeted today:  Saw a real-life horse whisperer yesterday; 20 year old kid caressed horse’s mane … horse laid down, then rolled onto its back … awesome.

One more week of reruns, roboskellies.  Tonight on the Late Late Show, enjoy the April 16th episode, with singer/songwriter Willie Nelson and actress Ellie Kemper.

Among the winners in last night’s Prime Time Emmy® Awards were Late Late Show regulars Neil Patrick Harris and Betty White.

Craig may have reached the boredom point of his vacation while surfing the web.  His tweet this afternoon:  My dance workout is making me look so young http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp_wLuBSs14&sns=tw

Craig’s assistant, Rebecca Tucker is traveling today:  Full body scan at airport security. Wrong day to go commando.

Back in 2006, the American Film Institute honored Scottish actor Sean Connery. Among the speakers at the event was Craig Ferguson, who gives Sean a funny but touching salute with a nod to their similar humble beginnings. Craig’s portion of the program begins about seven minutes into the clip, which was sent to us by @laulin

Angela Kinsey

It’s week two of the re-run fairy’s visit, as CBS presents encore episodes of the Late Late Show.  On Monday, it’s a fun show from April 16th with singer/songwriter Willie Nelson and actress Ellie Kemper.  On Tuesday, we’ll see the May 10th show featuring actor Russell Crowe and music by Wilco.  Actor Antonio Banderas and comedienne Paula Poundstone will be on Wednesday from May 26th.  Then from May 12th, we’ll see actor Bryan Cranston and actress Angela Kinsey on Thursday.  Finally on Friday, it’s the June 7th episode with comedian/author Eric Idle and actor Terry Crews.  Craig and company return from vacation to bring us all new episodes beginning Monday, August 30th.

On vacation in Argentina, Late Late Show producer Michael Naidus tweeted a pair of photos from a Iguazu Falls, a spectacular destination on the Argentine-Brazilian border.  Iguazu Falls … one of two photos taken in opposite directions from the exact same spot. http://twitpic.com/2gmxcf http://twitpic.com/2gmxvn

On vacation in Hawaii, Late Late Show assistant producer Andrea Wayland went scuba diving and tweeted about it:  Scuba was so awesome I did it twice! No sharks – instead lots of fishes and huuuge turtles. Loved it!  On another note the reefs look drastically bare compared to 20 yrs ago. Major major sad face. Follow @JMCousteau to see what you can do.

RSA member @MuhlLeaderNews has a great idea for your tweets:  I’m starting a new acronym like LOL & inspired by Craig Ferguson who says: “Made myself laugh”. When I type something funny, it’s, MML. We like it!

Today is Sit Back and Relax Day.  We hope you’re getting to do just that.
