Craig plus Don equals comedy gold. ‘Nuff said. TVSquad.com laughted along with us at Rickles last night.

While recording some new voice clips for Geoff Petersen, Josh Robert Thompson told us a little bit about the kind of job he has:  Main direction during Geoff Petersen recording session: “Quicker and gayer, please.” #RSA

The RSA’s @Colleen_Byrne was in the audience for last Friday’s stand up performance in Saratoga, California.  She wrote a post for the Craig@theInternet forum you’ll enjoy.  She also sent us some photos from the show.  She also attended the San Francisco performance on Saturday night.  Check our what she had to say about that show, too!

Tonight on the Late Late Show, another professional talk show guest, actor William Shatner tells Craig about his new sitcom and Craig classes up the joint with author Sloane Crosley.  With Rickles on last night and the producers making sure Monday’s holdover Ellie Kemper was squeezed in, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that singer/actress Brie Larson would never make the show.  We’ll let you know when she eventually returns.

Craig wearing glasses on the show?  It seems the experiment may be happening.  Today, he tweeted a picture for us to evaluate: http://yfrog.com/jb106saj Me wearing my new glasses. #lesbianversionofmichaeldouglasinFallingDown We’ll have to watch tonight to see if these or other glasses will appear on the face of his chattiness.

Craig also had some fun today when one of his followers named @jellybean88 tweeted:  @craigyferg do you ever answer random tweets? Craig responded: @jellybean88 no Glad you cleared that up, Craig.

The New York Post went crazy for Kristen Bell’s appearance on the Late Late show last night.

LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland has been making appeals for more Twitter and email questions for Craig during the last few days.  Perhaps the robot skeletons got lazy during the show’s hiatus in August.  But if more contributions are needed, perhaps the chances of having your question read on the air are better than usual right now.  The ideal time to send in your question is between 4-6pm ET/1-3pm PT Monday-Thursday because that’s when the questions are reviewed.  Tweet your questions directly to @CraigyFerg to be considered.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, don’t miss comedy legend Don Rickles, along with singer/actress Brie Larson and Monday’s delayed interview with actress Ellie Kemper.

With the massive popularity of comic book/science fiction/fantasy/anime conventions around the country, it’s no surprise that geeks of all stripes enjoy getting together.  One of the latest efforts is called “w00tstock“.  Instead of a multi-day convention with many rooms, events and sessions, the idea is a three hour concert-style event with some geek heroes on stage:  Adam Savage from the Discovery Channel series Mythbusters, author/actor/blogger Wil Wheaton (of Star Trek: The Next Generation fame) and the Washington DC-based comic duo of Paul and Storm.

Apparently, one of the special guests at the event in San Francisco this Thursday and Friday night will be a new robot from Grant Imahara, creator of Geoff Petersen.  The new robot is being called “Beerbot”.

Paul and Storm are already talking him up on Twitter:  This week’s #w00tstock SF will also feature @grantimahara‘s newest creation: #BeerBot. Eat it, @CraigyFerg! http://bit.ly/w00tSF

Craig responded to their taunt this way:  @paulandstorm Do not further anger Geoff P. He’s still pretty pissed at @grantimahara for not giving him genitalia. #kindoffrankensteiny

To which Paul replied:  @CraigyFerg [P] That’s entirely understandable; @grantimahara can be so cruel. But hey: BeerBot will also dispense soft drinks! #sorryGeoff

And Grant Imahara added: @CraigyFerg @paulandstorm Um, I thought adding robotic genitalia on Geoff Petereson might endanger humanity…

You may be right, Grant.  If any robokellies are going to w00tstock, we’d enjoy hearing your stories and any still pictures.  Future events with guests yet to be determined are scheduled for October 27th in Los Angeles and November 3rd in Dallas.

Last night’s show ran long, so they are promising that Ellie Kemper will appear on Wednesday, as Late Late Show producer Michael Naidus tweeted last night:  Tonight’s Late Late Show: too many good guests! Which means one of them (the adorable Ellie Kemper) will delay her appearnce til Wednesday. We’re not sure what that might mean for scheduled guests Don Rickles and Brie Larson. We’ll have to wait and see.

Tonight’s scheduled guests are actress Kristen Bell and singer Sarah McLachlan, who had been booked back in May and finally appears tonight, though the magic of television.  LLS Producer Michael Naidus tweeted:   Craig + Kristen Bell = Don’t Miss This Show. Enjoy, everyone. We won’t miss it, Michael!

Craig‘s assistant Rebecca Tucker tweeted earlier this evening:   San Diego and Riverside dates are now on sale http://tinyurl.com/2wda35d & http://tinyurl.com/327c38b However, the last time we checked, the San Diego tickets are not quite ready yet.

When you buy a T-shirt, mug or other gift from the RSA Store, all proceeds go to charity.  September’s charity is Doctors Without Borders, the international medical humanitarian organization working in more than 60 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe.  The RSA’s @Colleen_Byrne, who operates the store, tell us she is featuring the “Ninja Sid” design this month.

Tonight on the Late Late Show, Craig welcomes actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and actress Ellie Kemper.

Craig had a fun time in Northern California over the weekend, with stand up shows near San Jose and in San Francisco.  He tweeted a nice picture on Saturday night: http://yfrog.com/jlcbgjj backstage in San Francisco with upcoming local comedian Talk about a San Francisco comedy legend!  And later, he added:  I had superhappyfuntime in SF and Saratoga. Thanks @donttrythis & @mythbusters & Robin Williams & NoCal roboskeletons. If you were at either the Saratoga or San Francisco show, we’d like to hear your story and see your still pictures if you have some (sorry, no video of Craig on stage, please).  Let the rest of the #RSA know about the good time you had.  Craig’s next live appearances are coming up in early October in New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Kansas City.

The folks over at TVSquad thought Craig’s interaction with Malin Ackerman was one of the funniest clips of the week.

Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker sent an interesting picture on Friday night… we’re not quite sure who was taking the picture but we have a guess:  I’ve been upgraded to pilot http://twitpic.com/2n6sd1

Brie Larson

It’s another week of all-new live (shh!) shows on the Late Late Show.  On Monday, Craig kicks off the week with actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and actress Ellie Kemper.  On Tuesday, one of Craig’s favorite guests, Kristen Bell, will be on the show and we’ll finally get to hear the music of Sarah McLachlan, who had been originally booked to appear back in May but will be on in September, thanks to the magic of television.  On Wednesday, comedy legend Don Rickles returns to the show, along with actress/singer Brie Larson.  Craig talks with the one and the only William Shatner on Thursday about his new show and he’ll meet author Sloane Crosley.  And on Friday, actress Jennifer Finnigan will appear along with fashion expert Tim Gunn (whispered:  Tim Gunn).

We published about an hour later than usual tonight due to some technical issues we hope are now resolved.  Let us know if you have difficulty seeing any of our posts.  Also, please note that we’ve updated the comment system for our posts.  Rather than requiring an email address or website name, we’re going to try only asking for a Twitter name.  We appreciate your comments and would welcome any feedback as we continue to find ways to improve the site.

On this September 11th, we thought you might enjoy seeing a great clip from the day Craig became an American citizen. Thanks to the RSA’s @NadineWavy for reminding us and sending us the link.
