Craig performd at the State Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey on Thursday night.  He’ll be up in Uncansville, Connecticut Friday night at the Mohegan Sun Casino before finishing this week’s tour at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Saturday.

Craig’s opening act, Randy Kagan, has been tweeting more news and pictures.  After Wednesday night’s show in Scranton, he tweeted:  Ready for this? A woman called the cops because i swore on stage. Not kidding. [He said some other stuff as well… we’ll say it was something like “tutsi-fruitsy”]  On Thursday, he continued with a video clip:  Craig, Chris and Jeff in a flight simulator. Three Gayviators. http://yfrog.us/5ew4sz He then sent two pictures:  We actual went to a museum/strip joint. Cleopatra was a headless hottie. Just the way I like em. http://yfrog.com/b7kn0j // CF with his hands in the air like he just don’t care. http://yfrog.com/j993uyj

Newspapers in New London and Norwich, Connecticut are talking about Craig’s upcoming show at the Mohegan Sun Casino on Friday.

Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker is already in New York City, ahead of Craig’s two shows on Saturday and she’s tweeting:  Shopping in NYC and who do I run into but Liza, makeup artist extraordinaire, from The Late Late Show! // raced a stranger around the central park loop. fastest run since our all time worst run. now in fetal position on hotel bed LLS assistant producer Andrea Wayland has the week off and tweeted about it:  It’s Saturday night right? Yep. Thought so. I’m wearing my Saturday night pants. When the RSA’s @_WolfSpirit asked Andrea if her pants were labeled, she responded:  Labeled? No, I’m not nine. I’ve got a week off and I’ve got no idea what day it is. It’s awesome!

Robot skeleton sidekick Geoff Petersen isn’t quite sure what to make of the upcoming holiday:  10 days away from my 1st Halloween since I was built by @grantimahara. I hear I’m supposed to dress like something scary… Hello??

Geoff’s voice, Josh Robert Thompson, tweeted a very nice thought:  Being part of “The Late Late Show” w @craigyferg is a tremendous honor for me. Somewhere up there, Johnny Carson is smiling. 🙂

The RSA’s @uebergeek2 had a chance to see Lynn Ferguson‘s one-woman show in Los Angeles this week and said this about it:   “Top-notch: both writing and performance.”  The show had a three-night run this week.  Let’s hope it gets staged again so more people have a chance to see her work.

The group trying to preserve the historic character of Cumbernauld House in Craig’s home town in Scotland got some national press in the UK.

On Thursday’s Late Late Show, its the September 15th episode with comedian Don Rickles and actress Ellie Kemper.  On Friday, watch for the rebroadcast of the September 22nd show featuring the cast of The Big Bang Theory, minus Kaley Cuoco who was at home recovering from a broken leg.

Wednesday night was Scranton, Pennsylvania’s chance to see Craig Ferguson up close and personal, as he continued his east-coast stand up comedy tour this week.  On Thursday, it’ll be New Brunswick, New Jersey’s turn to see what Craig is like outside the studio and on the stage.

Craig’s opening act, Randy Kagan sent a great photo:  A hot chick i met on the road. http://yfrog.com/nfu5itj And Craig himself announced his arrival in Scranton:  Arrived Scranton PA. Surprising lovely town- sort of like Hogwarts with liquor stores. Dumbledorable. Randy sent more photos of Philly as well:  Philly 1 Philly 2 Philly 3

(WARNING:  Some spoilers):  The Reading Eagle newspaper in Reading, PA printed a review of Craig’s show in their city on Tuesday night.

Craig and Randy appeared on Danny Bonaduce‘s Philadelphia radio show Wednesday morning.  Thanks to the RSA’s @ScottishConan who found the link to the podcast, as well as a brief appearance on Philly’s local CBS television station.  Randy tweeted a still picture as well:  Douche and Bag. http://yfrog.com/j0sgkej

Geoff Petersen is continuing his obsession with wearing a meat suit:  @grantimahara is right about Gagawear. I see New Jersey butchers caution against wearing red meat. In Jersey I guess it’s about orange. GTL!

We had a feeling about this:  A study of late night talk shows found that The Daily Show has the fewest women as guests.  Guess which late night show has the most women as guests?  The Hollywood Reporter interviewed the study’s author.

The RSA’s @Rick_Sincere was at Craig’s show in Charlottesville, Virginia Sunday evening and posted several pictures on his Facebook account which he kindly shared with us.  Thank you to all of our contributors for sharing their pictures with the rest of the RSA.  If you have pictures or a blog post you’d like to share, just let us know by tweeting @RSA_News.

The RSA’s @Malinky2Stoatir will be tweeting seating charts of RSA members at both of Craig’s shows at Carnegie Hall in NY on Saturday.  Tweet Mal if you’d like to be included on the charts.  And tweet @Colleen_Byrne if you’re planning to attend the RSA tweetup at the Carnegie Deli on 7th Avenue and 55th Street on Saturday at 4:30pm between Craig’s shows.  Hashtag your tweets with #CraigyAtCarnegie for conversations related to those events in New York.  Have a (non cheeky) question you’d like to ask Craig? Tweet your question to @HMSFox who is meeting him backstage on Saturday thanks to her winning auction bid.  Limit two questions per person.

Craig isn’t listed as a ballot choice for best talk show host on the People’s Choice Award ballot but you can vote for him as a write-in candidate.  You can also tweet your nomination by tweeting:  Craig Ferguson #talkshowhost #peopleschoice We are told by sources at the People’s Choice Awards that those placed on the ballot were determined by television ratings, which means Craig and Jimmy Fallon were just below their radar.  The top five vote-getters in the preliminary voting will be nominated, so it will take an aggressive effort by the RSA to push Craig into the top five.

Craig’s sister Lynn Ferguson‘s one-woman show wraps up Wednesday night in Los Angeles.  Did any RSA members attend?  We’d like to hear your story.  Just tweet us @RSA_News.

On Wednesday night’s Late Late Show, you’ll see the September 13th episode when Craig welcomes actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.  On Thursday, CBS rebroadcasts the September 15th show with comedian Don Rickles and actress Ellie Kemper.

Craig was in Reading, Pennsylvania northwest of Philadelphia for a live stand up comedy performance on Tuesday night and will travel further north to Scranton, PA for a show on Wednesday evening.  Craig’s opening act Randy Kagan had a great time on Tuesday night:  Reading Rocked! Who knew?

On his way from Wilmington, Delaware on Monday night, Craig stopped in Philadelphia to eat a late dinner:  At Pats in Philly for cheesesteaks. Ah touring. It’s the time I enjoy late night meat. #imawareoftheinnuendo He then had lunch on Tuesday nearby before heading to the theater:  @ Marathon diner in Philly. They r playing Joy Division. If food is even half decent this is my new favorite. #iancurtisismybeiber He even took a moment to visit an important piece of American history:  http://yfrog.com/74apcpj ring a ding ding Now that’s what we call a bellwether moment.

Geoff Petersen tweeted about Craig’s dinnertime tweet:  @CraigyFerg stopped in Philly for some meat. Hope he brings me back something. Like some Lady Gaga apparel. Mm… Meatwear! Oh my… To which Geoff’s creator, Mythbuster Grant Imahara replied:  @GeoffTheRobot Don’t even think about it! I’m not cleaning rotten meat out of your servos. Geoff added:  @grantimahara My creator has spoken. No meatwear for Mr. Skelly. Curse these open-architecture servos!

Late Late Show assistant producer Andrea Wayland might not be on the tour with Craig but she’s having her own adventures, as she tweeted:  I’m trying really really hard not to throw a flaming bag of poo through my sax playing neighbors window. SO.SICK.OF.SCALES! Just wait until that sax player can imitate Kenny G.

If you’re planning to attend either the 2pm or 7pm show at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, tweet @Malinky2Stoatir with your seat info.  Mal will be tweeting seating charts to show where the RSA members are sitting.  And if you’re planning to attend the RSA tweetup at the Carnegie Deli on 7th Avenue and 55th Street on Saturday at 4:30pm, please tweet @Colleen_Byrne who is putting together a list of attendees to get an accurate head count.  If you’d like to keep track of Twitter conversations about the show or tweetup, use the hashtag #CraigyAtCarnegie  @Colleen_Byrne reminds us that all proceeds from this month’s sales at the RSA Store go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer research project.

The RSA’s @HMSFox was one of the successful bidders in the Lollipop Theater Network auction to meet Craig backstage at Carnegie Hall on Saturday and she is generously offering to share a little of her time with Craig for your benefit!  She is asking you, her fellow roboskellies, if you have any questions you’d like her to ask Craig when they meet.  Nothing cheeky, please (he takes care of that on the show), just questions for which you’d like to hear his answers.  Send your questions directly on the tweety to @HMSFox and she’ll pick the best ones.  There’s no guarantee how much time she’ll have with Craig but she’ll do her best to ask as many questions as she can.  Limit two questions per person, please.  Thanks!

Don’t forget to nominate Craig for a People’s Choice award.  You can use their ballot but you’ll have to write Craig in.  Otherwise, you can tweet your nomination by tweeting:  Craig Ferguson #talkshowhost #peopleschoice

Craig’s sister Lynn Ferguson‘s one-woman show Heart and Sole opened Monday at the Stella Adler Theatre in Los Angeles for a three day run.  The final night will be Wednesday, October 20th.  If you’re in the LA area, we’re told the show is entertaining and captivating.  She tweeted after Monday night’s show:  Lovely audience tonight. At home drinking enormous cup of tea #gettingonabit

If you’re about 20 years old or younger, the name Tom Bosley may not be a familiar one but he was best known to the generation before as television’s favorite father figure, Howard Cunningham, on the long-running ABC series Happy Days.  Bosley died today of heart failure after battling lung cancer.  An accomplished stage, film and television actor, he won Broadway’s Tony Award for best featured actor in a musical for his portrayal of New York Mayor Fiorello La Guardia in Fiorello in 1959.  Happy Days was his best known television show but he also starred as the title character in The Father Dowling Mysteries and the animated show The World of David the Gnome.  He was 83.

On Tuesday’s Late Late Show, enjoy a rebroadcast of the August 31st show when actor Don Johnson and Craig reminisce about their days in West Hollywood and Craig chats with author Laura Lippman.  Then on Wednesday, it’s the September 13th episode when Craig welcomes actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Craig was making them laugh in Wilmington, Deleware Monday night and will bring his stand up comedy to the Sovereign Performing Arts Center in Reading, Pennsylvania on Tuesday.  We’ve included a great photograph by@pnzr242 in today’s post.  It shows Craig backstage in Washington, DC on Sunday.  Craig himself retweeted another of @pnzr242’s photos that shows Craig dancing with Chris (sometimes known as Günter):   http://yfrog.com/64r7pj Oops. @Warner in DC. By @pnzr242 Craig also tweeted some interesting  artwork that could be a poster or comic book cover: http://yfrog.com/2cnxebj Now if I could talk @therealstanlee into writing it we might have something. Craig’s opening act, Randy Kagan, sent a nice tweet to the RSA:  Thank you all for the kind tweets. You are the wind beneath my wings. Just hope I don’t crap on your car.

Lots of roboskellies have been sending pictures from Craig’s live shows (remember that still photos are cool, video is not allowed at live shows).  The RSA;s @beammelate took pics of Randy Kagan:  Randy 1 Randy 2 and Craig:  Craig 1 Craig 2 Craig 3 Craig 4 Craig 5 Craig 6 one of Chris: Chris one of Jeff one of Jeff and Randy and one of herself with his chattiness. The RSA’s @Fergusexual got a pic with Craig as well, as did loyal Craig fan @AshleyPaulette with CF and one with Craig signing autographs after the show.  Here are @Fergusexual and @beammelate together, Jeff backstage, Jeff and Craig signing autographs and @beammelate with Randy.  Thanks to everyone who contributed photos of Craig on his east coast tour.  It’s our pleasure to share them with the rest of the RSA.  If you’re attending one of Craig’s shows this week and take some great pictures or blog about your experience, let us know… just tweet us @RSA_News.

The People’s Choice Awards is now accepting nominations for its annual awards show, including a category for “Talk Show Host”.  However, even though David Letterman, Jay Leno, Chelsea Handler, George Lopez, Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O’Brien (who doesn’t even have a show on the air at the moment) are included on the ballot, Jimmy Fallon and Craig Ferguson are not.  If either of them have a chance of getting nominated, they would have be write-in candidates.  A protests has already been lodged with the awards committee but they may not make any changes.  So, if the RSA wants to help Craig get nominated, we’ll have to be sure to write in Craig on the ballot.  In the meantime, you can help push Craig’s nomination on Twitter by tweeting:  Craig Ferguson #talkshowhost #peopleschoice It must be worded that way for consideration.

The RSA’s @Colleen_Byrne is one of the organizers of the RSA tweetup on Saturday, October 23rd at 4:30pm at the Carnegie Deli on 7th Avenue and 55th Street in New York City.  It’s a chance for RSA folks to meet between Craig’s Carnegie Hall shows (2pm and 7pm).  If you’d like to be part of the tweetup, send a tweet to @Colleen_Byrne so she can get an accurate head count.  You don’t need to have a ticket to either of Craig’s shows to attend the tweetup… it’s just a great chance for RSA folks to say hello.  Meanwhile, RSA General @Malinky2Stoatir is putting together a seating chart of roboskellies attending the 7pm show at Carnegie Hall.  Tweet Mal if you want to be included when the chart is posted on Thursday.  Many RSA people who are talking about Saturday’s shows are using the hashtag #CraigyAtCarnegie

It’s your final chance to bid on two chances to meet Craig Ferguson backstage at his Carnegie Hall appearances through the Lollipop Theater Network’s online charity auction.  The auction wraps up just after noon Eastern Time on Tuesday.

Monday on the Late Late Show, it’s the September 14th episode with actress Kristen Bell and music by Sarah McLachlan.  On Tuesday, it’s Craig’s conversations with actor Don Johnson and author Laura Lippman from August 31st.

Craig performed in Charlottesville, Virginia on Sunday night before heading on to Wilmington, Delaware for a Monday night appearance.  He performed at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC on Saturday night but before leaving for Charlottesville, he made a stop to visit with wounded members of military:  Just left Walter Reed Hosp in DC after a quick USO visit. Honored to have spent some time with genuine heroes. Thanks to all who serve. We agree and offer our thanks as well.  Just before Sunday night’s show, Craig tweeted this:  Backstage in Charlottesville listening to @randykagan on the theater PA. Jeez. He’s killing. #toogoodtobeanopeniningactforlong We think you’re right about that, too.

Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker enjoyed Washington as well:  What doesn’t happen in LA? Getting frisked by secret service while entering a restaurant because FirstLady is eating there too. I love D.C. And Craig’s opening act, Randy Kagan sent a couple of photos from DC and Charlottesville:   DC is lovely. http://yfrog.com/2gbaghkj Great crowd in C Town! I’m going to 5 guys. Then i’ll have a burger. http://yfrog.com/cak4pfj And Randy added this tweet during the Sunday show:  I’m backstage listening to CF crush. Jeez Louise!

Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania’s Times Leader newspaper posted this interview with Craig, who will be appearing in nearby Scranton on Wednesday.

Craig will wrap up this week’s tour at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Saturday, October 23rd.  We’re told that some members of the RSA will be doing a tweet-up between shows.  The event is planned for 4:30pm at the Carnegie Deli, which is on 7th Avenue at 55th Street.  The RSA’s @LipSyncingScot is urging tweeps to use the hashtag #CraigyAtCarnegie to talk about the show.  She also reminds us that the Lollipop Theater Network’s online charity auction ends Tuesday, so you’re running out of time to bid to meet Craig backstage in New York.

Geoff Petersen has the week off but is tweeting:  Just watching 60Minutes. That Andy Rooney! Mm-mm-mm. What I’d give to have a brow hedge like that youngster…

Sarah McLachlan

With Craig on the road this week, the re-run fairy makes a visit to CBS.  On Monday, you’ll see a rebroadcast of the September 14th show with actress Kristen Ball and singer Sarah McLachlan.  On Tuesday, it’s the August 31st episode when Don Johnson relived his West Hollywood days with Craig… and his chattiness interviews author Laura Lippman.  On Wednesday, watch for the September 13th show with actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.  Comedian Don Rickles and actress Ellie Kemper will be on your screens again Thursday in a reprise of the September 15th episode.  And on Friday, CBS will repeat the September 22nd show featuring the cast of The Big Bang Theory, minus actress Kaley Cuoco who at the time was recovering from a broken leg.  New episodes resume on Monday, October 25th.  We’ll post the complete list next week but it expected to include football legend Joe Theisman, actor Danny Devito, actress Marg Helgenberger and more.

Craig spent his Saturday evening in the nation’s capitol with a stand up comedy performance at the Warner Theatre and heads for Mr. Jefferson’s town, Charlottesville, Virginia on Sunday.  Craig has been tweeting about the journey:  All night bus ride from Rochester to DC. Craig’s warm up comedian and friend Randy Kagan tweeted a pre-show picture:  Backstage at the Warner. We had our pregame faces on. I love DC crowds. http://yfrog.com/mhpcjnj #RSA Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker is having a good time:  27 courses at Mini Bar. Almost busted out of the stretchy pants And Geoff Petersen chimed in:  @CraigyFerg in our nation’s capital. Perhaps official business for #RSA? Oo, dare I hope?!

If you haven’t seen the clip where Geoff Petersen, via Josh Robert Thompson, does Morgan Freeman TO Morgan Freenman, check out JRT’s tweet:  My name is Josh. Josh ROBOT Thompson. Watch me blow Morgan Freeman’s mind. http://tinyurl.com/282f4gq #RSA

Not long after he took over the reins at the Late Late Show in 2005, Craig was interviewed on CBS’ Early Show by Harry Smith.

Craig is on the road, performing live on stage in Rochester, New York Friday night and also hosting an all-new episode of the Late Late Show in Los Angeles, thanks to the magic of television.  He’s part of the homecoming festivities at the Rochester Institute of Technology.  Saturday he has a sold-out show in Washington, DC.

As he often does, Craig’s warm up comedian Randy Kagan is providing pictures of the tour, including these:  CF smiling. A real smile. Not a show biz one. http://yfrog.com/765h8j #RSA #craigyferg View of our G4 from our tour bus. God bless CF! http://yfrog.com/mwa7yxj #RSA #craigyferg

Craig arrived in Rochester for the show Friday evening and tweeted:  Arrived Rochester NY. Miserable driving rain and a cold northern wind. Like my childhood with better teeth. To which his sister Lynn replied:  @CraigyFerg have you got your vest on? And-or dufflecoat? X If you’re in the Los Angeles area next week, you should catch Lynn’s one-woman show at the Stella Adler Theater called Heart & Sole.

Craig also had a message for Drew Carey after Thursday’s show:  @DrewFromTV Even though you cost me $10k tonight I could not be prouder of you. Good luck on the walk. I love you man.#notgayokmaybealittle How did Drew’s visit cost Craig ten grand?  A pledge to a good cause, which Drew tweeted about:  Looking for Sponsors for the AIDS Walk in LA this Sunday! http://bit.ly/b4QB2l Craig Ferguson pledged 10 grand! How about you? Meanwhile, Craig’s assistant Rebecca Tucker is setting up shop in Washington, DC for Saturday night:  Dinner at Mini Bar in D.C. tonight. I’ll be wearing my stretchy eating pants. Bring it on Jose Andres!

Geoff Petersen‘s red carpet event was a hit.  Geoff’s voice, Josh Robert Thompson was happy:  … on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”: my history-making encounter with MORGAN FREEMAN! #RSA

The RSA’s @Coleen_Byrne noticed that Craig talked about an extra 20-minute How To Train Your Dragon feature, available only in the two-DVD box set which came out today.  She discovered that Amazon.com has it available for just a dollar more than the single DVD.

Charlottesville, Virginia’s Greene Country Record is already talking about Craig’s upcoming show on Sunday.

Grant Imahara of the Mythbusters and creator of Geoff Petersen sent out a tweet Friday evening:  We are having a friday afternoon office debate about who can kill who among the following: ninjas, pirates, robots, vikings… And Geoff replied:  @grantimahara I can settle your office bet. Robot Skeletons are most lethal. Unless confronted by ninjas, pirates, or Vikings. Grant joked:  @GeoffTheRobot Thank goodness you have no fighting skills. Really, it’s for the good of mankind… And Geoff said:  @grantimahara You wisely left out the aggression chip. Plus I am off warranty … This could be a great question.  We’ll see how the Mythbusters deal with it.

Friday on the Late Late Show, Craig welcomes TV host Julie Chen, actor Ty Burrell and country crooner Billy Currington.  The folks at CBS gave us a tease about Craig’s interview with Julie:  The Talk’s Julie Chen teaches #CraigyFerg about being a woman on 2nite’s Late Late Show. 12:37 AM ET/PT on CBS. #RSA And Geoff Petersen has been tweeting:  Expect more than the usual horseplay with The Fergermeister tonight on Late x 2 with my fave host @CraigyFerg Just remember, kids. Horseplay leads to tears… In your pants!
