When Craig appeared on the Discovery Channel for Shark Week,  he had fun exploring the ocean.  As a certified scuba diver, he had a unique chance to get up close and personal with the sharks.  Here are three clips from the show that give us a taste of what he saw… and said:

Please send them directly to Craig. Thanks! She also reminds us that you must include your name and town to be considered.

Geoff Petersen is still talking about New York Times reporter Bill Carter‘s book:  Oh my. Somehow got my picture in Bill Carter’s new book about The War for Late Night. It’s of Mr F and I. Who will play us in the movie…?

Several robot skeletons have been asking when actor Matt Smith (of Dr. Who fame) and actor Ewan McGregor will appear on the show.  Their names have appeared and disappeared from some lists.  Here’s what we know:  Smith has been confirmed by LLS producer Michael Naidus for November 16th and McGregor is tentatively scheduled for November 12th.  Many of the other schedules floating around out there can be out of date.  We always try to have the latest guest information here, so when in doubt, please check with us first.  We list each week’s schedule on our Monday post (usually posted late Sunday evening) and update daily with any changes.

Even Entertainment Weekly caught wind of this past weekend’s hashtag fest with #moviesinmypants and wonder aloud if we have Craig to thank for it.  From what we can tell, Craig didn’t tweet anything with the tag.

Geoff Petersen likes AMC’s show The Walking Dead:  @WalkingDead_AMC looks like a big hit. I wonder. Could they use — ahem — a certain extra? Or is that just type casting?

Supporters of preserving the historic Cumbernauld House in Craig and Lynn Ferguson’s hometown are getting more press, this time in The Evening Times, a national newspaper in Scotland.  You can follow them on Twitter @CumbernauldHous or on Facebook.  Which reminds us that RSA News is now on Facebook as well.  We hope you’ll “like” us and like us, too!  And remember, it’s your community, so you can post on the wall.

It’s another busy week for Craig, not only hosting five brand-spanking new episodes of the Late Late Show, but appearing live on stage in conversation with comedian Lewis Black at the El Ray Theatre in Los Angeles on Tuesday, plus a pair of stand up comedy performances:  Friday in San Diego at the Balboa Theatre and Saturday in Riverside, CA at the Fox Performing Arts Center.

The hashtag #moviesinmypants was trending for a while on Saturday, prompting Geoff Petersen to say:  What’s this? #moviesinmypants is trending? Shut the front door! Geoff also tweeted:  Big Saturday night for the robot skeleton sidekick. Unplug my 12′ cord, crack my knuckles, and dream my bony dreams. Oh my, that’s the stuff And on Halloween, Geoff has been tweeting:  People keep saying “Hey, nice costume.” But I’m not wearing one. Ouch. //  Did I just hear Monster Mash in World Series? Not the same without @craigyferg in his blood stained lab coat. Ding dong!

Geoff’s voice, Josh Robert Thompson, enjoyed the holiday as well:  Orson Welles’ 1938 radio production of ‘Dracula’ on vinyl, Pumpkin Ale and old horror movie trailers with the sound turned down. Enjoy.

The RSA’s esteemed General @Malinky2Stoatir attended Craig’s 7pm performance at Carnegie Hall last weekend and has posted a blog about the experience.  The good feelings surrounding the robot skeleton army are evident, as are those for our fearless leader.

Randy Kagen had a video clip in reserve from the crew’s visit to Philadelphia last week.

The FergyBot4000, creation of the RSA’s @tzankoff went out on the town for a little Halloween week fun.  You can check out his tweets for more.

It’s another week of all-new episodes of the Late Late Show, with at least the first two days pretty well locked in on the schedule.  On Monday, actor/director/producer Tyler Perry and actress Sophia Bush are in the studio. On Tuesday, Craig welcomes comedian Lewis Black and musician Bettye LaVette.

Then things get a little less certain.  As recently as a week ago, it appeared that  Stephen Fry was to be in the studio for a taping on Wednesday but his name has been removed from all of our usual sources. We’re trying to get to the bottom of it and will let you know what we find out. All the schedules still agree that musician Dr. Dog is scheduled to appear on Wednesday.

On Thursday Craig welcomes actor Dick Van Dyke and actress Kerry Washington.  And on Friday, the lone guest on the schedule is philosopher/author Cornel West but that listing also appears to be subject to change.  We’ll keep an eye on things and keep you posted.

Halloween is upon us.  We hope Craig will have the chance to go our trick-or-treating or perhaps train a few dragons.

The website Anglotopia.com has an interview with actress Janina Anderson who admits having a crush on Craig.

DigitalSpy.com has an post about singer Charlotte Church, in which they mention her appearance on film with Craig.

October 30th is appropriately National Candy Corn Day (you eat it all before any kids show up at the door too, right?) and Mischief Night.  October 31st, in addition to being All Hallow’s Eve is also National Magic Day and Increase Your Psychic Powers Day.  We predict you probably won’t notice a difference.

With the Halloween weekend upon us, Craig & company have a special opening for Friday’s show.  This one is destined to become a classic, so set your DVR.

Warning – SPOILERS:  The folks at CBS tweeted a preview of the opening, which several media outlets have posted.  http://twitvid.com/BSKNA – It’s a Halloween “Monster Mash” 2nite on Late Late Show w @CraigyFerg One preview comes from Entertainment Weekly‘s Ken Tucker and another from ScreenCravers.com.  LLS Producer Michael Naidus tweeted Friday:  Wanted everyone to know that Craig and Friends were working (in the lab) very late last night … results will be on-air tonight. On Friday’s Late Late Show, Craig welcomes actor/ screenwriter/musician Jason Segal, actress Alison Brie and Australian comedian Adam Hills.  Next week’s guest list seems to be a bit fluid; our usual sources all have slightly different schedules.  We’ll try to get it nailed down and bring you the full list on Monday.
