Back In The USACF in AZ
Craig Ferguson enjoys wandering the Earth and solving crimes, so it only makes sense that upon his return from a vacation in Scotland, he might spend some time exploring his American back yard.

CF Road TripWhile on the road over the weekend, Craig not only tweeted a photo of his new hat, but a road sign:

Back in ‘Murica. #newhat

Road trippin.

It turns out that sign is on westbound U.S. Route 60 in the desert southwest, on the western outskirts of Wenden, Arizona. We found a wider angle on Google Street View:

CF on 8-12-16
Wenden has a population of 556, and would seem to be an appropriate place for Craig’s hat. As the sign indicates, Salome (pop. 1690) is the next town along the highway, with Blythe, California (pop. 20,817) further ahead on Interstate 10.

Lynn’s Show At The Fringe

Horse McDonald

Horse McDonald

Craig’s talented sister Lynn Ferguson has been a frequent writer, director and performer at the world renowned Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This year, she is the writer behind a new Fringe show called Careful, based on the life and music of Scottish singer Horse McDonald. The name of the show comes from one of McDonald’s most popular songs, and it tells the story of what she has gone through on her life’s journey as a person and a performer. McDonald herself stars, directed by Maggie Kinloch. The show, which runs from now through the end of August, has already received some great reviews.  You can hear Ferguson and McDonald talk about the show on BBC Radio, and see them chatting about the show on Lynn’s YouTube channel.

Lawrence Block:

We need: (1) haggis (2) shortbread (3) a reason to go on.

And Sloane Crosley:

HTTYD 3 Coming in May 2018
HTTYD2 Promo slWe’ll still have to wait for nearly two more years, but the third (and reportedly final) installment of the How To Train Your Dragon series of animated feature films (featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson as Gobber) is now set to be released on May 18, 2018. As the website MovieNewsGuide.com explains, the film was originally set to come out in 2017, but due to budget cutbacks at Dreamworks Animation, it was pushed back a year. A planned date in June of 2018 has been updated to May, to avoid competing with a June launch date for Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 4. Meanwhile, MovieNewsGuide.com is also reporting that the previous voice cast all appear to be on board and they mention a pretty huge plot spoiler (we’re not kidding). If you don’t mind the spoiler, you can read that article here.
