The president’s State of the Union Address, coverage of the response and CBS News analysis wrapped up and allowed local newscasts in the Eastern and Central time zones to air on time on Tuesday. That means the broadcast of the Late Late Show could remain on time as well. No delays are expected around the country.

Email NoteRSANews

To our email subscribers: We encountered a new problem on Monday night, when some users received two or three copies of the same email. We have discovered the source of the problem and fixed it, so things should be back to normal now. On Saturday night, a post that was supposed to automatically post did not, so we added some code to our website to shake it up and force it to post. Unfortunately, that same language also affected our email program, which kept telling the emails to send even though they already had, so it dutifully did. We have removed the problematic code, and you should only receive one email this time. Please tweet us or use our Contact Us form to let us know if you see any further errors, and thank you for your patience.

Ben Talks Country
Ben Dukes-x2_c8417c5Musician and part-time Late Late Show bouncer Ben Dukes was quoted in a USA Today article, talking about the state of country music today. When commenting about how some people despair about the “pop” sound of today’s country, Dukes looked back fondly at the music of country singer/songwriter Garth Brooks. Ironically, even Brooks was considered by some to be too “pop” in his day, so the debate will probably go on for a long time. Thanks to the RSA’s @bgrhubarb for spotting the article.
