Craig On Your Hand-Held Device Soon (Hey, now)
The folks at EpixHD have announced that they will soon have apps for a wide variety of hand-held devices such as smartphones, tablets and internet-capable televisions, which will stream their library of movies, concerts, sports and comedy specials like Craig Ferguson‘s Does This Need To Be Said? Details can be found in articles from Home Media Magazine, MultiChannel.com and 4-traders.com. Release dates for individual device apps have not yet been announced but are targeted for mid-2011. The special is currently available on the EPIX channel from some cable and satellite providers and on EpixHD.com. It will be available on Netflix starting May 20th. There is still no word on a DVD release date but we’re keeping an eye on it.
Charlotte Tickets
The Ovens Auditorium tells us they’ve dropped the price of all remaining tickets for Craig’s show on Thursday to $31. If you live anywhere near Charlotte, there’s no excuse not to go and help fill the place up! The Ovens tweeted: [quotetweet 63267384538042368]Check out our Live Comedy Tour page for the tickets link.
Pooh Arrives in the US July 15
The New York Times reminds us that the new Disney-Pixar film Winnie The Pooh, featuring the voice of Craig Ferguson as Owl, will be released on July 15th. The article shows the competition the film will be facing in theaters that month.
Craig’s Quip Caught by Scottish Press
The Herald Scotland mentioned a recent joke by Craig about the royal family. If you’d rather not sign up for the newspaper’s websites to read the articles, the quote by writer Ken Smith was short:

Early Craig Pictures
The RSA’s @HMSFox sent us a link to a page with pictures of cast members from various productions of Bad Boy Johnny and the Prophets of Doom. Craig played the role of Father MacLean at The Union Chapel in a 1994 workshop production and there are three pictures of him on the stage. The controversial play, which is a satire of religion and rock and roll music, closed after just nine performances following protests by religious groups.
Tonight’s Guests
Wednesday will be the last visit from the re-run fairy for a while, as we’ll see the March 30th show featuring actor Matthew McConaughey and actress Amy Smart. New episodes resume on Thursday with actor Tom Selleck and actress Odette Annable.
