Comedians Audition
Craig Ferguson and The Late Late Show have a reputation for giving up and coming comedians a chance to appear on national television for the first time. Back in March, producers from the show were in New York City to see 15 comedians perform on stage, auditioning for a chance to appear on television. Which from the group of hopefuls will get the call? We’ll be watching in the coming months. Thanks to the RSA’s @bgrhubarb for giving us the heads up.
Television Without Pity Gets Some Pity
For television fans, one of the longest-running repositories of TV reviews and criticism has been the website Television Without Pity. The site is being shut down by its new owners, NBC Universal, but thanks to fan outcry, the archives will remain online indefinitely. The site has a wealth of episode summaries and we’ve visited it many times.
Purposely American
While promoting his autobiography American on Purpose back in 2008, Craig was featured on CSpan2’s Book TV.
