Panhandle Fun in Florida
Craig Ferguson will be taking a week off from taping the Late Late in Los Angeles before returning to the show just in time for Halloween.  The RSA’s @HMSFox was in the audience for Sunday’s show in New Jersey and tells us that Craig said he’s flying to Scotland for a few days.  The crowd north of Philadelphia had a great time (some spoilers) on Saturday, as reported on PhillyBurbs.com.  Thanks to @MissGraoully for spotting the link.  Craig’s next live shows are scheduled for November 18th, 19th and 20th in Tallahassee, Fort Myers and Hollywood, FL near Miami.  Tickets for the first two shows are already on sale and for the Hollywood performance, tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 26th.  Just click the link on our Live Comedy Tour page for more details.  We have not yet heard about any shows Craig is lining up for December 2011 or into 2012 but we’ll pass them along as soon as we know.

Nominate Craig for a People’s Choice Award
This year, you can vote to nominate Craig Ferguson for a People’s Choice Award!  As some longtime robot skeletons may recall, last year a write-in campaign had to be mounted because neither Craig nor Jimmy Fallon were listed as possible nominees on the list.  We were among many who were quite vocal in our displeasure to the People’s choice committee who had apparently decided not to include hosts whose shows started after midnight.  But it appears they were listening, because this time the list of choices is longer and Craig is among them.  Our best guess is that Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Conan O’Brien are almost certain to be three of the five final nominees, which means Craig will have to best Fallon, Andy Cohen, Carson Daly, Chelsea Handler, David Letterman, Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel to make the fourth or fifth open spot and move on to the final vote.  It is worth noting that Fallon, Kimmel and Handler all have active fan bases, so we’ll have to work hard.  Vote early and often on the People’s Choice Awards website.

Craig Previews
Publications in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey are talking about Craig’s upcoming appearances there this weekend. Among them are a nice longer interview on CTPost.com, acorn-online.com, the Stamford Times and one of AOL’s Patch.com outlets in New Jersey.

Dancing With Horses
