People’s Choice Awards
It’s time once again for nominations for the People’s Choice Awards. Three years ago, Craig Ferguson‘s name wasn’t even listed in the Favorite Late Night Talk Show Host category and fans had to write in his name. He’s been on the list since then but has narrowly missed being nominated, behind perennial favorites Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, David Letterman, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Kimmel. But this year, if the robot skeleton army is motivated and votes, Craig might get the nod! You have until November 2nd to cast your vote to nominate your favorites. The top five vote-getters will be announced on November 15th and another round of voting will follow. To vote, visit the People’s Choice Awards website. We’ll keep you posted!
Sarandon’s Saga
Susan Sarandon joins Craig on Wednesday’s shows. She recently spoke to Katie Couric about her career, as reported by the Huffington Post.
Benioff’s Benefits
Also on Wednesday’s show, producer David Benioff is among those interviewed by a television station in Croatia about the filming of the third season of Game of Thrones, as reported by ScreenCrush.com.
Dale’s Debut
Comedian Thomas Dale is on Wednesday’s show as well making his first appearance. He recently performed at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut and was reviewed in the student newspaper the Quinnipiac Chronicle.
Greek Chorus
The RSA’s RS recent wrote to us, suggesting we post a funny clip from a few years ago when Craig briefly added a Greek chorus, to comment on the show as it happened. We agree that it was a hilarious way to deconstruct both the ancient plays and the late night talk show format. Thanks, RS!
